Interesting course only slight downside some pathways between green and tee are not great.

A nice long course with plenty to keep you interested, including a little water and some holes where you're tempted to short the dog's leg.
Lots of up and down with some elevated views and pretty pockets of trees and bright yellow gorse.
The staff have been terrifically friendly each time I've played here and they have nice food and a decent range of beers in the bar (I know, at a golf club!).
Practice facilities are good too. Driving range is grass and there's a green for pitching onto, plus a putting green of course.

a nice long course. kept in good condition considering it was winter. Fairways cut nice. greens played well. nice food in the clubhouse

Played yesterday at the end of a long dry period. Course looked parched. Lots of brown grass on the fairways. Greens had just been hollow cored and heavily sanded, so were difficult to judge. Had lots of borrows and height changes so would be tricky when back to normal conditions. bunkers were poor. Lots of small stones. Several bunkers short of sand causing problems to very hard surface just beneath what sand there was.

The whole experience was top notch. I really enjoyed the golf course. Bunker position has been extremely well thought out. No pitching and running to the hole you have to be extremely accurate.
