Having previously played Kendal and Windermere really appreciated a less arduos and almost level course. Some of the greens appeared to be under par but this could have been due to the amount of rain in June. Fairways were in goood condition and many were very generous and forgiving.

Course very wet and muddy with flooding in places. Still recovering from December flood wipeout. Winter greens don't help with putting averages.

Not a very interesting course. Very flat and featureless and the greens were in terrible condition. I appreciate at this time of year they are prepping them for Winter but other courses seem in much better condition. Club facilities excellent but your not playing golf in there!

facilities are now second to none. Course still maturing but the new layout works well. Good golf resort and location for a society day

Excellent course with great facilities. Course has been recently upgraded an offers an excellent parkland course. Clubhouse is excellent and modern with food and drink available. Great views around the Kendal area from the course.

Great course just a shame about weather. Rained most of day and due to this I found the greens held up. The course to be of truth held the weather fantastically and I would play here again no matter what the conditions.

Although I don't live locally, I play this course regularly, and have seen the massive improvements over the last couple of years. It really does get better every time I play. The clubhouse is spectacular, and the food second to none. The staff, from the barstaff to the Pro's are exemplary, and cannot do enough for you. It genuinely is the best run, friendliest club I have ever visited. They also have a fantastic set-up for the youngsters, who will ensure the club's future.
