Golf Society Day
Played Sunday the 20th of August with Aintree Hospital Golf Society. A fantastic day. The greens were lush and in top condition. Great layout, a must for anyone in the area.Tees and fairways were very good, well done Greenstaff ???? Clubhouse, Pro Shop very friendly. This course is in great condition and the staff are super friendly and informative. The layout of the course is great too- it's not too difficult, flat, and has great facilities.

Simon Edwards day fixes and faults was absolutely tremendous. Simon is such an experienced pro and coach and no matter what standard of golfer you are you will come away full of confidence. Highly Recommended.

Great Lakeland Course
Carus Green is a super course with many different holes. There is water about and some tight fairways. The course is in excellent condition and the greens are quite fast but are true. The views are terrific and the 18th hole with a pond in front of the green makes for a challenging finish.Reviewer Rating

Great Track, even in the cold.
Played here as a twilight round, pretty quiet so not rushed at all.Greens were running true and of a good pace.
Some holes able to grip it and rip it, some you need to play sensible.
Food in the clubhouse was lovely, as too were the staff.

Outstanding
We stayed at Carus Green in the penthouse apartment for a weekend and was completely impressed with the quality of the holiday and golf facilities. The accommodation is first class, the clubhouse is outstanding, the golf facilities second to none and the course was extremely well planned out and in great condition. Excellent course with great facilities. Course has been recently upgraded an offers an excellent parkland course. Clubhouse is excellent and modern with food and drink available. Great views around the Kendal area from the course.

Great course just a shame about weather. Rained most of day and due to this I found the greens held up. The course to be of truth held the weather fantastically and I would play here again no matter what the conditions.

Although I don't live locally, I play this course regularly, and have seen the massive improvements over the last couple of years. It really does get better every time I play. The clubhouse is spectacular, and the food second to none. The staff, from the barstaff to the Pro's are exemplary, and cannot do enough for you. It genuinely is the best run, friendliest club I have ever visited. They also have a fantastic set-up for the youngsters, who will ensure the club's future.

1st time played since all the work has nearly finished. The club house is excellent with great food. the course is great as long as you stay out the water.

Probably the friendliest golf club I've been to. The pro shop/restaurant staff were excellent and the members were friendly too. The course was challenging but fair. If you stray too far off the fairway you'll get in trouble on quite a few holes. The course accept 2-4-1 vouchers so if you're in the area and looking for somewhere to play this is a great choice. I'll definitely be back!

Great place to start out
This was my first round of 18 holes, naturally I found the course challenging, however I am just setting out. There is lots of opportunities to pick points up on this slightly shorter course. Thoroughly enjoyable and will certainly be returning in the near future.The facilities are second to none, and the driving range is a perfect place to get some practice in pre-game.
