Nice course worth playing
Second time playing Windermere GC, first time some 9 years ago so very much looking forward to playing it again. Friendly welcome in the clubhouse, great breakfast. Friendly welcome in pro shop. Decent practice facilities. Course in great condition, lush fairways, greens mint. Course is very up and down, with a few blind holes. Not always driver off the tee and course management important. No bunkers but not needed as many other hazards to negotiate. The views are stunning as well. All in all a nice course to play.Reviewer Rating

Great course in stunning scenery
Great course set in stunning scenery. Course was in excellent condition with the greens running really well. There is a real need to stay on the fairways here as the rough is quite severe. Every hole is a test but my favourite is the long par 3 10th. Very hilly but well worth a visit. Highly recommended.Reviewer Rating

An acquired taste?.
Fine if you like playing blind holes. Probably a much better experience second time round. Take plenty of golf balls with you.Reviewer Rating

Lovely Views
Writing a review of Windermere shouldn't be that hard, and I doubt it will be much different to most other reviews. It'll be along the lines of "Windermere is a gorgeous course in stunning scenery, it's not long, but it makes up for that by being fairly tight. There aren't any bunkers, but you won't always get a flat lie. Oh, and it's hilly, so take that into consideration when deciding whether to get a buggy. The greens, tees and fairways are all excellent".What else is there to say? My favourite hole is the par 3 8th.
