Enjoyed the day. Clu house is excellent. Food and service very good. Course was in good condition. Not the longest but some tight driving holes. Greens good, some tricky pin positions. All in all a good track and well worth a visit.(Round played: Aug 2021 - Score: 78 Handicap: 6.6)

Well laid out course, but....
Not played Carus Green before and was looking forward to it as heard good things about it. Friendly welcome all round, decent enough breakfast. But was told that greens was not up to their usual standard before going out, surely they can't be that bad we said, unfortunately they were.Some fairways and all greens had not been cut for few days it looked liked. The greens were patchy at best, very difficult to putt on. Shame as the course is well laid out with some good holes. Not the longest but quite tight in places.(Round played: Sep 2019 - Score: 72 Handicap: 5.6)

Not a very interesting course. Very flat and featureless and the greens were in terrible condition. I appreciate at this time of year they are prepping them for Winter but other courses seem in much better condition. Club facilities excellent but your not playing golf in there!

Although I don't live locally, I play this course regularly, and have seen the massive improvements over the last couple of years. It really does get better every time I play. The clubhouse is spectacular, and the food second to none. The staff, from the barstaff to the Pro's are exemplary, and cannot do enough for you. It genuinely is the best run, friendliest club I have ever visited. They also have a fantastic set-up for the youngsters, who will ensure the club's future.

1st time played since all the work has nearly finished. The club house is excellent with great food. the course is great as long as you stay out the water.

Forgiving parkland course, lovely condition. Twilight round at £15 each is a bargain. The clubhouse is amazing, great food after the round. Worth a visit and would recommend.

Lovely set up from the clubhouse to the layout of the course, it's not a long course being only 5718 off the yellows but the greens were very nice if a little slow, it quite a new course which is probably why it's a little untidy in places but it's easily forgiven for that, I had a very nice bacon barm and lager shandy in the clubhouse which is very nicely built on 3 floors

Probably the friendliest golf club I've been to. The pro shop/restaurant staff were excellent and the members were friendly too. The course was challenging but fair. If you stray too far off the fairway you'll get in trouble on quite a few holes. The course accept 2-4-1 vouchers so if you're in the area and looking for somewhere to play this is a great choice. I'll definitely be back!

Nice tight layout in Kendal Cumbria. Quite a few bare lies due to tight traverse spots. Look forward to playing in Summer.

the improvementsi see in the course and the facilities are huge.

Course is in good condition but it is very flat and many holes run parallel to each other. Staff are all really friendly and make you feel very welcome. Only £10 each on the 2-fore-1, can't say fairer than that!

Very friendly people and a really lovely course. Kept in immaculate condition, we really enjoyed this course and is fantastically priced.
There is a state-of-the-art driving range so give yourself plenty of time to warm up beforehand in their great facility.

Carus is a parkland coarse which lies in a sheltered valley just past Kendal. The river Kent winds its way through the coarse, which is par 70 & 5860 yrds. The par 5 "blasted oak" is the pick of the holes ( 7 ). Its a very freindly club with a very good pro shop & driving range.

Great place to start out
This was my first round of 18 holes, naturally I found the course challenging, however I am just setting out. There is lots of opportunities to pick points up on this slightly shorter course. Thoroughly enjoyable and will certainly be returning in the near future.The facilities are second to none, and the driving range is a perfect place to get some practice in pre-game.

Golf Society Day
Played Sunday the 20th of August with Aintree Hospital Golf Society. A fantastic day. The greens were lush and in top condition. Great layout, a must for anyone in the area.Tees and fairways were very good, well done Greenstaff ???? Clubhouse, Pro Shop very friendly.
