Money Grabbing
Horrendous weather rendered the course unplayable for an open last October but the club wouldn’t close it. Only 10% played, no refunds offered. Very poor.Reviewer Rating

Not a very interesting course. Very flat and featureless and the greens were in terrible condition. I appreciate at this time of year they are prepping them for Winter but other courses seem in much better condition. Club facilities excellent but your not playing golf in there!

Well laid out course, but....
Not played Carus Green before and was looking forward to it as heard good things about it. Friendly welcome all round, decent enough breakfast. But was told that greens was not up to their usual standard before going out, surely they can't be that bad we said, unfortunately they were.Some fairways and all greens had not been cut for few days it looked liked. The greens were patchy at best, very difficult to putt on. Shame as the course is well laid out with some good holes. Not the longest but quite tight in places.(Round played: Sep 2019 - Score: 72 Handicap: 5.6)

Nice tight layout in Kendal Cumbria. Quite a few bare lies due to tight traverse spots. Look forward to playing in Summer.

Course is in good condition but it is very flat and many holes run parallel to each other. Staff are all really friendly and make you feel very welcome. Only £10 each on the 2-fore-1, can't say fairer than that!

Great place to start out
This was my first round of 18 holes, naturally I found the course challenging, however I am just setting out. There is lots of opportunities to pick points up on this slightly shorter course. Thoroughly enjoyable and will certainly be returning in the near future.The facilities are second to none, and the driving range is a perfect place to get some practice in pre-game.

Enjoyed the day. Clu house is excellent. Food and service very good. Course was in good condition. Not the longest but some tight driving holes. Greens good, some tricky pin positions. All in all a good track and well worth a visit.(Round played: Aug 2021 - Score: 78 Handicap: 6.6)

Nice course. Lots of water. We played in high winds so was pretty tricky at times, but it was in great condition and the grounds and facilities were top notch.

Having previously played Kendal and Windermere really appreciated a less arduos and almost level course. Some of the greens appeared to be under par but this could have been due to the amount of rain in June. Fairways were in goood condition and many were very generous and forgiving.

Forgiving parkland course, lovely condition. Twilight round at £15 each is a bargain. The clubhouse is amazing, great food after the round. Worth a visit and would recommend.

Lovely set up from the clubhouse to the layout of the course, it's not a long course being only 5718 off the yellows but the greens were very nice if a little slow, it quite a new course which is probably why it's a little untidy in places but it's easily forgiven for that, I had a very nice bacon barm and lager shandy in the clubhouse which is very nicely built on 3 floors
