Enjoying the Academy Course
The course is very dry and fast on fairways and greens but plenty of grass on both to make a clean hitting nice and sweet
Really enjoying this course its a good enough challenge but not silly long in length to take too long to complete
Great for all abilities but still greens too small
Good round had today

Not played Academy Course for a while, as was disappointed with the condition of the course!
What a difference in just 2 years, Fairway a tad wider and hazard grass cut well back to make you feel more confident to hit without losing your ball or confidence, Greens still smaller that Pitch

Thank you Teeofftimes.co.uk for another great day for the price
Turned up in a middle of a Members Comp but was no problem from thr club.
Played from White grass Tees today so add in many cases more yards
Windy today so whole new challenge for me in this weather.
First nine holes went well ground nice n firm but greens looked and played worse than last week very bobbly but same for all players.
Hole 7 I was invited to tag a comp team of 3 and was a joy to spend time with members and were very complimentary of my swing and game and said I shoult be around the 20 handicap, my game tired towards then end and some shots were not great but its adding to my learning curve

Been itching to play hear for years and thanks to teeofftimes.co.uk paid only £12 so bargain.
The course was nice and dry even after all the snow so fairways and greens run nicely with great carry on most straight shots.
Good all round course not to hilly but some great holes like the par 3 12th over 2 ponds which was fun.
I did get lost going from 10th to 11th lol
Only gripe was the 17th green very spongy and so much slower than any other green similar to the academy greens not great at all.
But hit some splendid 3 woods today maybe my driver phobia is leaving me
Very happy camper today.

interesting and enjoable course for the price would play it again for sure only downside is the bunkers are not upto much so no challenge and seems to be a lot of cut grass just left laying on fairways and semi rough.

After enjoying the 12 hole pitch n putt for only £5, the following week moved on to the Academy Course to try out my longer game for the first time this year
First hole is the only one with a bunker but gives you an idea of what the course offers
Greens are very small (smaller than pitch n putt ones) and very spongy so your sort game will be tested to the max here, but once on the green the ball runs true if a tad slow.
Had a good time here you dont need a full bag of clubs to get round
Just make sure you keep an eye on the power lines on some holes, I hit them twice in the same round

In respects to the overall condition of the coarse i would say it was excellent. The greens are very demanding, there isn't a straight put to have anywhere which is one of the reasons I became a member that and the price.
