Excellent course in very good condition. Greens are very slow, but you get used to that. Some difficult holes with a varying layout. Overall, a very well looked after course, which is enjoyable to play. Will deffo be visiting again.

I was lucky enough to play here twice in 2013 via a Groupon code, absolutley amazing course, both times was amazingly enjoyable, teeing off over the water on Hole 1 all the way up the Par 4 fairway onto nice starter green, the fun began, and didnt end, a challenging course forcing some shots to be thought out, on some of the holes you need to be honest with yourself and play to your capability, otherwise you're going to go through a LOT of golf balls, if you get the chance i would highly recommend this course, my score was about the best i had had at that time so i was happy with this score and i am looking forward to playing it again.

Good course played for the 5th time. A little wet in places and leaves on course made it difficult to find the ball at times.

3rd week at Breedon
Day before was at Swingers Virtual Golf in Leicester experience which I must say has helped my driving but not great help for different ball lies as it was always perfect lol
Thank you teeofftimes.co.uk again for £12 round
Anyway back to the round happy with my game, course is lovely and dry so good carry on all shots, greens seemed alot slower than previous weeks with caught me out with short putting on most holes, all holes looks very well looked after and ground shots all took nice divots making approach shots nice to control with 8,9,PW,SW
no complaints at all today

as a visitor myself and my golf partners received a very warm welcome. it is a very challenging course for beginners, especially the 1st hole. (over the water). i will certainly visit this course again.

Very welcoming staff. Club Pro is a very nice guy. Food was very good. We had a groupon offer and they didn't treat us any differently to the members. The groupon offer was brilliant. It's a bit further out than I normally go for golf, but having said that I will definitely be returning to play it again. Very challenging greens and in brilliant condition despite yesterdays down poor.
All in all a ver good experience (helped by the fact I shot my lowes round ever!!!) Would recommend to anyone.

This is my review of Breedon Priory Golf Course which is situated near Wilson,Derbyshire.After being told about this course by several golfing pals of mine,it was decided that Which Golf Magazine would go and take a look.We arrived and were greeted by helpful and informative staff,which is always helpful.The course itself is not mega tough,,but quite a good test for low and high handicappers.The first tee goes over water ,past a ditch that is situated within driving distance,to a large undulating green.There is a top tier and lower,which,if you miss the right level is a really tough test for mediocre putters.As you move on round the course,it is noticeable how much the owner,and indeed the course staff, take pride in their work.As we played on,the course tests you with several quite difficult par 3's,4's and especially the 6th which doglegs tight left,only being really accessible by drawing the ball.It is a really tough par 4,which I have to say I played as a 5.7,8 and 9 follow which are all really good holes.On to the back 9,starting with a quite tricky par 5.A good drive will still leave you with a blind second shot which also must be accurate,or a ditch awaits.following this two par 3's the first quite straight forward,the second over water to a quite big,receptive green.The next hole is over trees,dogleg left,looking easy but ,to be honest ,if you misjudge your chip downhill,it could be very costly.Par 4's follow,until you get to the 17th,which is another very tricky par 3.The 18th sees you driving off towards the clubhouse,water on the right,out of bounds on the left.The green slopes from left to right,and errant shots will be punished.Overall we enjoyed this course immensely,playing it several times since.It is very good value for money,and we definitely recommend to all our readers.

Nice course - could do with a few more bunkers to add back to the character. Nicely laid out, Greens could do with a bit of love and attention
