adequate short to medium length course with an interesting & reasonably chaenging layout, needing good course knowledge in places. The course is maturing nicely. This has the potential to be an extremely good course, however is hampered & let down by the quality of the greens & the bunkers, which seem to be filled with builders sand, & rock hard, rather than anything to get yourself stuck in & challenge an escape.
The course gets very wet & muddy very quickly after rain.
With proper management this could be an excellent track
Green fees are too high for the quality of the greens, though about right for the challenge & potential. But the membership prices are still tempting for anyone right on the doorstep.

I played it yesterday, greens the worst i have played on. Fairways very muddy on several holes - should have been pick and place, bunkers with weeds and getting rid of bunkers on several holes, groupon type golf and visitors take priority over members or thats how it feels!

This Course ticks nearly all boxes and as huge potential, however one HUGE problem, the Greens are proper naff, some of them are shocking and i mean shocking, the fairways are far better, big shame as like i the holes and fairway but if the Greens are that naff, whats the point?

having only taken up golf in march this year, i played several rounds at breedon. when you play twiilight it is almost justifiable, however, when paying full price this course is well below standard, poor greens, poor service. I have had a summer of thoroughly being addicted to golf and after playing 20+ courses this is bottom of my ranking.
with some work it could be drastically improved and made into an enjoyable course. the greens need attention first and some of the bunkers would be better with some sand in

This has to be one of the most dissapointing golf courses i have ever had the misfortune of playing. The State of the greens was withought doubt the worst i have exprerinced in my 15 years of golf, the fact that they were around the same length as my persian rug was just the start of the problem, pitchmarks yes they were an issue but it was actually more like putting over the side of a pebbleblasted wall with a fair amount of mud covering the surface for good measure. Bunkers, well their were several scattered around that resembled a bunker but the fact they looked like they hadn't been raked for weeks didnt help.
I cannot reccomend against this course enough and quite frankly if i worked their id be embarassed and as for the greenkeepers i can only assume they must be on strike.
Other than that the course was characterless and very unnapealing and i supposedly got it cheap through tee off times at £50 for a two ball.
Over All one to most defrinately be avoided.

Course condition good, the greens were reasonable but the bunkers are definitely not looked after. Played at a discounted price via teeofftimes.co.uk. which made it reasonable. I certainly would not pay the normal asking price of £30 per round!!!

I'm a member but not for much longer. No investment in the course (or worse). Greens rubbish, bunkers rubbish, tees rubbish. No care for members or facilities. Altogether a woeful course. It's a great shame because the scene is idyllic

The only real challenge is the hills. Bunkers aren't a challenge at all, grass barely cut... not a hard course... The bar and staff seem very friendly

Very pretty course with some good character holes. Fairways in ok shape if a little long, greens not too good, very thick and spongy. Tricky putting. Expensive for a course of this quality.

Played the academy course. Fairly easy to find but minimal facilities. Only toilets are in a cafe and toilets are locked when the cafe is closed. No bar at this side of the course. The golf shop was not open but a notice was up to use the adjoining shop when it is closed. No card payment facilities at the shop so another negative here. The course was pretty poor. The greens seemed to be made with fairway grass making them slow and unpredictable. There were no tee off markers to tell you where to start and the yardage. I have played at much better full difficulty 18 hole courses for the same money and had a much better experience.

Excellent course in very good condition. Greens are very slow, but you get used to that. Some difficult holes with a varying layout. Overall, a very well looked after course, which is enjoyable to play. Will deffo be visiting again.

I was lucky enough to play here twice in 2013 via a Groupon code, absolutley amazing course, both times was amazingly enjoyable, teeing off over the water on Hole 1 all the way up the Par 4 fairway onto nice starter green, the fun began, and didnt end, a challenging course forcing some shots to be thought out, on some of the holes you need to be honest with yourself and play to your capability, otherwise you're going to go through a LOT of golf balls, if you get the chance i would highly recommend this course, my score was about the best i had had at that time so i was happy with this score and i am looking forward to playing it again.
