I'm a member but not for much longer. No investment in the course (or worse). Greens rubbish, bunkers rubbish, tees rubbish. No care for members or facilities. Altogether a woeful course. It's a great shame because the scene is idyllic

Played the academy course. Fairly easy to find but minimal facilities. Only toilets are in a cafe and toilets are locked when the cafe is closed. No bar at this side of the course. The golf shop was not open but a notice was up to use the adjoining shop when it is closed. No card payment facilities at the shop so another negative here. The course was pretty poor. The greens seemed to be made with fairway grass making them slow and unpredictable. There were no tee off markers to tell you where to start and the yardage. I have played at much better full difficulty 18 hole courses for the same money and had a much better experience.

We had a very pleasent welcome in the shop, and some course tips before we teed off.
But we were very dissapointed in the course, although it is set in some beautifull countryside, the holes were squashed in too close together and the greens were the worst we have ever played on, they had more weeds than my lawn, a great pity

Terrible course. Played on 3rd august and the greens were like puddings - they were worse than most fairways I've seen. The course layout is dull, and green side bunkers are like sandpits. I honestly can't believe they charge £20 to play here.

having only taken up golf in march this year, i played several rounds at breedon. when you play twiilight it is almost justifiable, however, when paying full price this course is well below standard, poor greens, poor service. I have had a summer of thoroughly being addicted to golf and after playing 20+ courses this is bottom of my ranking.

with some work it could be drastically improved and made into an enjoyable course. the greens need attention first and some of the bunkers would be better with some sand in

I played here on Sunday on a Groupon Offer. Like Oliver Johnson review I fully agree with all the points.
I have played a lot better courses for the money like Ramsdale,Springwater and Oakmere so who in the right mind wants to pay and play here.
Just check around you there are better courses around and I would save the money and not bother going out for a bad day at Golf.
All in All a very disappointing Golf Course with worst Greens I have seen on a Golf Course that want to charge top dollar.
So folks stay away from this Course and find elsewhere.

This has to be one of the most dissapointing golf courses i have ever had the misfortune of playing. The State of the greens was withought doubt the worst i have exprerinced in my 15 years of golf, the fact that they were around the same length as my persian rug was just the start of the problem, pitchmarks yes they were an issue but it was actually more like putting over the side of a pebbleblasted wall with a fair amount of mud covering the surface for good measure. Bunkers, well their were several scattered around that resembled a bunker but the fact they looked like they hadn't been raked for weeks didnt help.

I cannot reccomend against this course enough and quite frankly if i worked their id be embarassed and as for the greenkeepers i can only assume they must be on strike.

Other than that the course was characterless and very unnapealing and i supposedly got it cheap through tee off times at £50 for a two ball.

Over All one to most defrinately be avoided.

Course is not very challenging, quite short, wide open fairways, bunkers were overgrown with grass and very shallow, more of a sand pit than a bunker. 5th hole is a joke as they've moved the green, so you hit the fairway and you get penalised. Greens were very grassy and slow.

What a great shame, this really could be a real gem, sat in a lovely setting however this is a very poor excuse for a golf course and is certainly not worthy of a single penny of anyones money, when you sit on the patio and folk are talking about weather they are in a bunker or not because of being overgrown.... whats all that about.......... leave it for the hackers and spend your hard earned money elsewhere.
