Interesting experience
Played on a Monday in October. Course was good-greens excellent.Arrived back at 4 pm to find the clubhouse closed which was a problem. Shoes inside.
Eventually found a young lady who had not been able to let us in for about 10 mins as she was on the phone . Very strange to only have one staff member on duty.

A lovely links type course, with some difficult holes. A lovely backdrop to the Local Essex countryside.

Could be a lot better,
Suffering from current weather conditions (08-22), tee boxes very dry and very patchy fairways aeration/drainage slots big enough for ball to go into, greens ok but slow. Variety of holes including short (106 yellow t) par 3 island green. Short par 5's long par 4's.Reviewer Rating

Links Like

Like the course alot. Great layout of holes. Only one negative, greens are going brown already at end of May. Could do with watering during the night to get back green again.
