What the club says: The Blakes Championship course, designed by renowned course architect Howard Swan, is best described as an inland links. The layout and undulations of the course are totally unique to the area with rolling fairways and sleepered bunkers giving the feel of a traditional seaside links.

Interesting experience
Played on a Monday in October. Course was good-greens excellent.Arrived back at 4 pm to find the clubhouse closed which was a problem. Shoes inside.
Eventually found a young lady who had not been able to let us in for about 10 mins as she was on the phone . Very strange to only have one staff member on duty.

Could be a lot better,
Suffering from current weather conditions (08-22), tee boxes very dry and very patchy fairways aeration/drainage slots big enough for ball to go into, greens ok but slow. Variety of holes including short (106 yellow t) par 3 island green. Short par 5's long par 4's.Reviewer Rating
