Lovely course
Really enjoyed a society day here. The fairways had just been spiked to improve drainage over the winter months which meant they were bumpy in places, but didn't ruin the round by any meansReviewer Rating

Tough and hilly parkland course in reasonably good condition for a pay and play track.
Damp in the rough in wet conditions so need to keep the ball in play.

Very good golf course, the only problem is the bunkers, its seems now one rakes them after they play there shots

My favourite course in Essex, was superbly kept and challenging throughout. The greens & tee boxes were fantastic, can't fault the fairways or bunkers. The range beforehand is just what any golfer needs. Fantastic course, highly recommend it.Reviewer Rating

Decent conditions, but..
rough kept too long, losing balls barely a few feet off the fairway; greens cut against natural breaks made it incredibly difficult to putt (these greens are super fast already).

Very very slow
Lovely course in great condition. But so slow. 20 min delay to our start. Walked off the course on the 15th hole after nearly 6 hours. Front nine took 3.30hr. Packed in and at least 3 groups on every tee box, they take your money and dont care what happens after that. Never again.Reviewer Rating
