Very windy so made it more difficult. Hilly course with beautiful views of the coast and castles. Lots of blind holes,so playing again may b easier!!

Worth a visit for the views
Blind holes and tricky par threes, finding the fairways and greens are key to a good round(Round played: Jun 2017 - Score: 97 Handicap: 27.2)

Course was in great condition and very cheap to play with such a fantastic setting

Have played here 5 or 6 times over the years and most recently on a calm day with mild weather . Course was in excellent condition for March and the rough trimmed back which helped me immensely with a few wayward shots that would have been in deep trouble in the summer months. The overall maintenance was of a very high standard and is a credit to the club - Staff friendly and food good. Will return !!!

Sadly there was a very thick sea mist and so it was difficult to see more than about 50 yards. I suspect that the course is a good links course but I have no evidence to support this!

The course was in excellent condition and provided many challenges particularly on the day we played where we had to contend with a very strong wind. The location had excellent panoramic views of the Northumberland coast. The cost of a round seemed expensive.

I've never played a course anywhere in the world with better scenery than here, helped by a beautiful sunny day. The course was fairly tricky with a lot of blind shots, and in good condition.

Would I go back to Bamburgh? A qualified yes, with some reservations. Views obviously yes, layout has weaknesses in particular its a good 400 yards too short to be much of a challenge. Not as many blind shots as some want to make out though and not likely to lose a ball to anything other than a rank bad shot. Condition was fine, greens putted better than they looked fairways and tees slightly scruffy. Very serious walk in places would think some of the steep concrete paths lethal in the wet. Nice practise/warm up area, clubhouse very reasonable only saw one member of staff but she was coping. I would have rated this higher except compared to Dunstanburgh, which we played the next day, this starts to look expensive. 50 quid for 2 rounds is still good, but its near neighbour is a stronger layout, easier walk and views 90% as good

Great course and the views are simply stunning but thewind was brutal club selection was nearly impossible, i'm a half decent single figure handicapper and i hit a six iron to a hole measuring 126 yards (8th) !!!!!!

Great Course with some of the best views you will get on any course certainly in the Uk.
Some may find it a bit short and some of the blind shots may not be to everyone's tastes.

the course is very hilly but nice the members made guests feel very unwelcome finished our round and got straight off,course excellent members poor
