Probably the most picturesque course I have ever played! Every hole has a view that will take your breath away. A pretty short course so great if your not the biggest hitter but there is some difficult holes which demand your upmost attention.

Extremely busy course with all tee times booked throughout the day on our visit. Too many blind greens for a first visit to enjoy the golf too much, Though the views were excellent

Fantastic views from the course. Not great track but they make the most of the terrain. A lot of blind shots. Nice clubhouse.

Quirky Cliff top Course

Not sure i can give the most reliable review as my experience was clouded by a wretched night prior and both mind and body were not fully up to the test. The course is short and quirky and does lend itself to previous experience rather than the first timer but I can see how many members and visitors love the variation in holes alongside some undeniably stunning views of the bay and castle. Practice facilities are limited, the clubhouse was under scaffolding but for a majority of our group the overall experience was still very good. It's well worth a try although I much preferred both Goswick and Dunstanburgh Castle if you are prioritising a trip!

Very windy, but the open fairways on the front nine and the relatively short course lent to good scoring

First time at this course....stunning views and some great golf holes especially on a windy late afternoon....only thing that spoilt it slightly was that the greens were a bit slower than I would have expected on a links course
