This is a cracking course, quite short but tight and tough with blind shots and played much better than when I played it last time in April

Good course that you need to plot your way around not just a case of the it up and smash it.

This is a great course but not one for the faint hearted. Probably the most testing course I've played outside Scotland. Only 5810 yards but feels like double that with all the hills. There is almost no part of this course that isn't on a slope. Difficult for the first time visitor to score well here as there are lots of blind shots. You can only see 5 pins from standing on tees and one par 5 you first see it at 40 yards from the green. There is almost no margin for error. Miss a fairway or green by 8 yards and you'll end up out of bounds, down a huge hill or off in a ditch, you need to be straight. If you do hit straight you still have the howling wind to deal with. There is one temporary green in place on the 90 degree dog leg 7th but the actual green has had turf relaid so that's understandable. Course in good condition and friendly members make this a must visit course. It will open your eyes to how different golf on a hillside can be to a normal flat parkland track.

Quirky course with many holes blind but fairways in excellent condition. Felt like a links course in the countryside

A bit rough round the edges, hard course to play lots of blind holes and very hilly. Some cups were not round or trimmed. Great value for money on a Monday only £10 for 18

we played this course for just £10 after 5pm. the course is in very good condition and the greens were very quick. not for the faint hearted if you like flat courses go elsewhere but this is an absolute joy to play. helpful members and a clubhouse that is a little dated but we were made very welcome.

A challenge for any golfer. Undulating fairways mean you have to pick your clubs carefully for each shot.

Excellent course. Agree with the Thomas M and Marc W. A challenge with accuracy being the key. All areas of the course were in good condition. Very undulating. I bet this club has got some of the fittest members in the area as a result. People on and off the course were friendly. £17 on a Thursday with a County Card and even at the normal weekday rate of £25 it is still excellent value.
