Fantastic Course

A beautiful, traditional course and great value for money. Course was in immaculate condition and greens were quick. A good practice area and nice food in the bar afterwards. A good mix of holes to get you thinking too.

New year new golf

I was invited to play nuneaton by a golf friend.
It's pretty steep for a casual but well worth it
Winter mats are as good as the grass
Only 2 temp greens
Lovely course although a bit wet in places I found it a good round of golf
Very generous on the slope rating aswell
I play off 16.2 and I was playing off 20 so a good stableford score was recorded
Will be looking to be a member if the joining fee is OK

Great golf course!

Really interesting golf course with a variety of different types of holes. Played early October and greens were immaculate. Good food in the clubhouse afterwards too.

Good course but let down by the hospitality of golf organiser

Played with a golf society and loved the challenge of the course. Like most places currently - dryness was affecting the fairways increasing the run of fairways. The greens were very difficult to judge and i wasted so many shots around them. Painful. Let down ...an upset about a hired buggy having to be returned before we were due to finish?? Disappointingly the buggy was whipped away on being let temporarily still with players cards on it which were never seen again. Hospitality was very good elsewhere and up the highest statndard.

Played a charity golf day here and I was very impressed by the course. It was tough but playable. Greens were good - very difficult to read!! A few dodgy fairway bounces, but it was bone hard. Staff and pro shop all very friendly and the food was nice.

Great condition and welcome

we found the course in amazing condition for the time of year, there was a few of the standard maintenance issues happening on the greens in prep for next year but couldn't have asked for better. The welcome in the clubhouse was lovely, really attentive and a fabulous meal was had.

Nuneaton GC. Well worth a visit. You won't be disappointed

Away for worso took the opportunity to have a round at Nuneaton GC, as I'd heard it was a decent course. I wasn't disappointed and you won't be either if you go and play there. There has been done gravy downpours over the week leading up to when I played, but saying that the course held up remarkably well considering. Some greens had some surface water and puddles, but that wasn't an issue and there were similar very wet areas in the fairways, but clean and place, so no problem. There are some good challenging holes with a good mix of holes on both the front and back 9. Some stand out holes, but Nuneaton's signature 15th is a great hole and the 18th with a 90 degree dogleg is a great finishing hole. It would be rude to single out more holes, as there are a lot at Nuneaton. If you're in the area, it's well worth a visit.

The practice facilities here are superb. It is rare to have a range, large chipping green and a large putting green to warm up on. The course meanders through the trees and positioning off the tee is vital to have a shot into the small greens. The tee boxes are worth a mention as they are large and well maintained from red through to blue tees to offer good variety of length.

Beautiful course that you will want to play again

Plenty of well defined elevated and beautiful tee areas and a overall a gorgeous course to test all golf abilities. Shame about the pilons on hole2 they caught my friend out. Bunkers and dog legs holes added to the fun of the course. Avoid the trees and bunkers and plan your landing areas around the course and you won't go wrong. Tricky tees shots with trees, water and bunkers and parkland grass make you think of playing along safe lines. Loved the hole up the the bridge with a testing approach shot. Enjoy the nice blend of lengthy par 3?s mixed with tasty par 4? s and 5?s . A risk and reward championship course which you'll want to play again and again. Breakfast (buffet ) and lunch were great at a club house which had friendly helpful staff.
