What the club says: Opened in April 1993 and set in the heart of the beautiful Warwickshire countryside, the 18 hole parkland golf course boasts over one hundred acres of undulating fairways, carefully groomed lush greens, a backdrop of mighty oaks and a challenge to rival any course!
With a total yardage of 6208 and a standard scratch score of just 71, Oakridge is a course to rival any other. With a course designed to test not just your ability but your knowledge too, you will soon understand why both experienced handicap players and ardent enthusiasts alike consider Oakridge to be a true challenge.
Great course with some very tight fairways, you need to straight off the tee
(Round played: Jul 2017 - Score: 88 Handicap: 12.1)
Fairways were tight which added to the challenge, greens very receptive and rolled true
Had a great round and we all felt course was really well presented
Staff were all friendly from the pro-shop to the bar
Will definitely visit again!
My title says how I feel - Oakridge try hard and the course looked good for invitation open, but you can't hold a ball with anything other than a 54° 58° lottery playing pitch and runs.
In the winter it turns into a bog ?
Layout is up and down, hedges to catch wayward drives, really friendly well run club ???? just can't get motivated by the layout
Practice area between 13th - 18th use your own practice balls
