Thankful it wasn't windy
The course was a bit of a challenge due to covid restricting me from playing much recently and would have been even harder if it had been a windy day.There are quite a few hills and some water hazards to negotiate, the greens were ok with some being a little patchy.
The course would improve if the golfers using it replaced their divots.
We had a friendly welcome from various members and the staff.
I enjoyed playing the course and would like to play it again (I'm a 25 handicaper ).

Winter surprise
I wasn't expecting a great deal as it was winter but I was pleasantly surprised by the course and the conditions. Will definitely be coming back in the dry season. Greens were top-notch a bit long but you?d expect that this time of year Tee boxes all very consistent, fairways were probably some of the best I've played on this year, and you can see the improvements they are trying to make to the course i.e. new tee boxes on some of the holes to make it longer.Reviewer Rating

A nice course in lovely surroundings
A nice course in lovely surroundings, well worth a visit. Shop small but adequate, clubhouse good and very friendly welcoming staff. Course was in good condition and a good test, in parts needed to keep straight. Nice water features and the railway line, which you cross twice was also an interesting feature. Lovely course as always. Open fairways with good greens but a good variety of holes with some very challenging par 4s thrown in on the back 9. Very friendly club too!

Lovely course!
Great course, plenty of challenging holes. Layout requires a bit of walking but creates a nice round of golf. Get a little tight on the last 6 holes, a good mix of par 3,4 and 5's.Reviewer Rating

Very good layout love the challenge with trees and streams but the greens need attention very badly a shame really as i played this coarse a few years ago and the greens was excellent.

Very good course
Fairways in nice condition plus tees and greens firm but true. Not many playing club house good with well priced food(Round played: Jul 2021 - Score: 88 Handicap: 16.8)

Lovely Greens on a sunny day
This is the first time I'd played here and was thinking of membership as it is my local course. Partner had played here before but about 20years ago. Greens were in excellent condition, very tight in places due to proximity of tees and greens to each other. Felt a little unsafe however lots of bells to ring and you can hear them going off but you may not know for which hole. Staff in the Pro shop did not really make me feel particularly welcome and to be honest made me feel a little uncomfortable. if you are thinking of playing here book online for a slightly cheaper rate. They didn't accept partners county card as they stated they already give a heavy discount (although still dearer than online), and cheekily said pay how you want...my discount or normal price and county card it's up to you.The website and club need to clarify their twilight rates.
