An amazing course with 4 holes starting and ending at the clubhouse. Makes for good viewing for a competition.

The best greens I have played on this year. Really good sculptured course where accuracy is needed to avoid long rough. Great short game practice area and range and clubhouse commands great views over a number of holes.

Played a mid-week round in early February and we almost had the course to ourselves.
Overall the course was in great condition for the time of year - one temporary green, but we had played The Grove and Woburn the two previous days and the fairways in particular here were in a much better state.
Challenging but fair for a medium to high handicapper.

Called in at Ashridge on the off chance of getting a tee time after being less than impresed by a very unhelpful club up the road that we had booked but could not play using trollys. Peter Cherry the pro at Ashridge could not have been more helpful got us sorted with a tee time during a very busy day on the course, which turned out to be a gem even in the middle of winter, greens hard and fast for the time of year, bunkers and tee boxes in top condition. The course is wide enough off the tee for the odd less than straight shot but do not miss a green on the wrong side consult your course planner. All in all top course top staff. Great day.

Played in a work / hospitality competition last month and the course is beautiful! Excellent condition from tee to green and an absolute pleasure to play...even more so when you're not paying. Not the hardest course, some gorgeous holes and you could post a good score but beware some punishing rough! Excellent facilities to boot!

My first time their at a Society Day, and what a pleasure to play. The greens are tricky....try not to leave yourself a downhill putt! A real 'old-fashioned' course, with some holes played to the sole background of the birds singing. I managed to birdie the 511 yard 15th using 2 x 7 woods and a nine iron. Most enjoyable, I will return to play this course again.
