Great greens

A pretty testing course with several gullys and streams. Greens very good. Under new management with lots of upgrading to the clubhouse and bar but they could still serve a mean pint and some food. Not many people on the course

New Management - major changes
Since the new management have taken over you can see a major difference in the course. Immaculate condition and the changes they have made already have been superb. At course facilities are improving and there are plans to develop the club house and driving range. I would definitely play there again. It rained all day but the course stood up to the water really well - it had not done so in the past!!(Round played: Feb 2022 - Score: 80 Handicap: 7.8)

Range balls
Hi,My wife and I visited your range today, the range is fine , but the balls we were given
to use, can only be described as disgusting and unfit for purpose, they should be
binned a.s.a.p.

Mid winter blues
Upon arrival we were handed paper scorecards !!Having played for just over 3 years I find this is one of the worst I have played.
Course looked tired and in need of updating.
Tees would not look out of place in cow field,shocking
Greens were very poor
We did play here as alotnof courses were closed so I was expecting the course to be worn but not as bad as it was.

Interesting course
The club house and facilities are awaiting an upgrade which is surly needed.The course is kept very good but is suffering with it being very wet. Carry only ATM.
The drainage is being sorted.

Slow progress under new owners
This was the first time I?d visited since the new owners took over earlier in the year. Slight improvement on the greens was noticeable but the fairways and first cut was 80% mud 20% grass after a dry week of weather leading up to the round I found the conditions particularly boggy. A couple of noticeable changes that have been made were the removal of trees on the 15th hole and a lot of the ditches have been cleared out of overgrowth to allow the water to flow abit better. Hopefully in spring/summer the course will be in better shape but I wasn't overly impressed. 1 ball in front of us wasn't being let through by a 4 ball in front of him either which was annoying and made for a long round!Reviewer Rating

Much improved
After falling out with this course in the past and not having played it for nearly 5 years, I took the plunge and tried Ansty once again. It was a pleasant surprise, from the aspect of booking online, and getting a tee time that suited, I was in for a surprise as the course was in a decent condition. Pace of play wasn't too bad considering being stuck behind a hacking 4ball. All in all I enjoyed the course and look forward to laying there again soon.Reviewer Rating

Great course, butToo many people on
I think this course has so much potential and hope the new owners fulfil it. Hey are certainly working hard. Have always liked this course even tho lots slag it off. Today was not one of my best experiences there but will stick with it and return. 2hrs 45m for 3 ball to complete f9! To be fair there were marshals around trying to sort it out. Got to 10th tee and there were 16 people waiting to tee off! Played f9 again (under 2 hours) and got credit to go back at later dateReviewer Rating

A great course which has improved massively under new ownership. An excellent pace of play even for a Saturday lunchtime. I will be playing again here on a regular basis.

Improving
Enjoyed a couple of rounds here recently, already seeing improvements under new owners, I hope the course continues to improve and the facilities get a good makeover especially the golf range (needs an overhaul including new balls!).
