What the club says: The West Midlands Golf Club is an 18 Hole Golf Course built to United States Golf Association specification with the 18th hole being an island green similar to the 17th at Sawgrass, Florida. The excellent drainage allows play all year round. A buggy path allows use of golf buggies in any weather.

good course
west midlands is a very good course. prices have increased over and above unfortunately. not a fan of the buggies being satellite assist, as anything more than 6 feet off and they shut down on you.Reviewer Rating

Long course with the monster par 6 8th hole. Stay straight and you can hit a good score. Must have a buggy if not a very long walk

Certainly a Course you have to play
Have not played this course for years and had always enjoyed it. Still a great course in my eyes. For the time of year the greens were excellent. fairways a bit threadbare in places but still very playable. Excellent choice of holes that you cannot just get the driver out. Some thought needed on a few of the Holes. Par 6 a monster but keep it straight and shouldn't hurt your score to much. Go and try it and enjoy !!Reviewer Rating

Played here again after a couple of years since playing. The course was in very good condition and challenging. Some of the pin positions were in some very challenging spots. I managed to par the longest hole (par 6) and finished with all of my group being lucky enough to all par the last hole on the island.

Very good condition and challenging course. I would play again. Robots cutting the fairways keep it in good knock all day long. Some good water features add to the round and variety. I would recommend to all standard of golfers.Reviewer Rating

The course is challenging but playable and well looked after. The screen in the buggy is also very informative for distances to holes and obstacles and is the best I’ve come across.

Great course.

Long course with a lot of water hazardous to make you think. Course was fairly wet in places but this was to be expected. If you can keep the ball on the short grass a good score is possible

Challenging with some unique holes
Always find this a bit challenging. Buggies are plentiful to take the struggle out of it. There are of course the unusual Devil's Hole 666 yards par 6 and the final 18th over the water. Lots of fun on that last one. Nice bar too with outside seating and food as well.Reviewer Rating

Course was in good condition. A couple of the greens were slightly bumpy but the rest were in good condition with good pace. Really enjoyed playing the course which is good test.

Brilliant Golf Course worth Visiting
Brilliant Golf Course that was in Great Condition posing a challenging test of golf with the various challenges of plenty of Water/Bunkers present along with very fast Greens!. The 8th Par 6 UK's Longest Hole and the Island Green Par 3 18th was a superb test of golf!.Friendly and Helpful Staff, Will definatley come back and play again!.
