What the club says: Stonebridge Golf Club is a beautiful 27 hole parkland golf course located in Meriden, Warwickshire, in the centre of England. Having opened in 1996, the course and facilities here at Stonebridge make us an ideal choice for leisure and corporate golf, fine dining and business meetings and events.

The course has 27 holes built across three loops of nine holes, providing golfers with three different courses, each with their own characteristics and offering their own challenges. As a measure of the quality of the course and our venue, Stonebridge also played host to the PGA Europro Tour, providing a test for some of Europe's leading professional golfers. We are also a Golfmark-accredited club, which recognises junior and beginner friendly golf facilities.

27 holes to choose from

Nice 3 x 9 hole complex with each 9 being different from the others. Well maintained, not too challenging but a few holes with water can be difficult. Nice clubhouse and well stocked pro shop. Interesting driving range hitting floating balls into targets in a lake.

Good practice facilities and good lay outs, might be a little confusing given the lay out of 3 x 9 holes but overall a good course.

Nice Choice of Holes to Play

Played here and did 9 holes in the morning on the Somers course, and 18 in the afternoon on the Hampton/Blythe courses.
There is a great variety of holes, with some interesting shots and choices to make. Water comes into play on a few holes, and some of the fairways are quite hilly or sloped to one side or the other, making for quite a good challenge (not "championship" challenge) for all handicappers. We had 2 high-handicap ladies in our 4 ball, and off the forward tees they enjoyed the day too.
The course was in great condition, and the greens were true and moderately fast.
There were some holes with quite a walk to the next tee, but these were clearly signposted.
The clubhouse & pro-shop were very friendly and helpful, we were made to feel most welcome. There is a spike bar where you can also eat, we sat outside as the weather was good, and the home made fish finger sandwiches we had were very good.
There is also a driving range where you can hit to targets out in a lake, with floating balls!! (The balls feel no different to normal range balls).
All in all, a very enjoyable day out, and we would definitely come back here, when we next visit this area.

Lovely course

I've driven by this course on numerous occasions and wondered what it was like, as have my regular golf buddies.
We were all really pleased that we finally played here.
Great layout, although there are some long walks from green to tee.
Whilst its not the longest it is really challenging.
We are looking forward to going back, very soon.

Fantastic condition golf course at the minute, not the toughest test of golf but not easy either. Greens run true fairways are springy but tees need levelling out.

What a joy

Lovely combination course. (Venue has 3 loops of 9).
Great looking course with many varied holes. Not long but not easy unless you plot your way carefully. Would love to go back and play the 9 we missed out on because if it's as good as the Hampton & Blyth nines it'll be well worth playing.

Nice course but nothing stunning

Nice course but not one that will live too long in the memory. Course in good condition although greens have been hollow tined and not fully recovered so putting is a bit of a bouncy lottery. Good mix of holes but nothing too memorable. Played the Blythe/Somers combination. Not sure I would bother to return to play the Hampton 9. As with multiple loops of 9 holes course set up, play was slow. 4 balls starting their front 9 delay quicker players moving onto their back 9 because not every group plays at the same pace. Excellent practice facilities with a great driving range over a lake.

Excellent

Played this course around a month ago. The change in a month is brilliant. Greens were fantastic although a few fairways had bald patches. But overall, very impressed. The bar / restaurant has been refurbished and recently opened. It is beautiful, a massive improvement on the cafe style that existed before

We played here on a freezing cold day when the greens were almost solid and covered in frost and so they were difficult to read when putting and to stop approach shots on. However, we really enjoyed the day as the quality of the course was good for the conditions. We played the Hampton and the Blythe courses and there was plenty of variety of holes, layouts and water hazards. The only down side was that there were long distances between some greens and the next tees.

Excellent Greens

this is a great course, on some holes very much resembles a links course, with tight fairways and hills full of long heather requires you to stay on the short stuff! well maintained. we played in January and the greens are some of the best i have played on. will certainly be back, a great test of golf for any handicapper.
