SLOW
Unfeasibly slow play ruined an afternoon’s golf. Clearly anyone was allowed on the course, irrespective of ability or understanding of golf etiquette. Therefore only play this course if you are happy with a 5 1/2 hour round and buckets of unrepaired pitch marks on what we’re grat greens. This could be a very good course overall however the attitude of the employees made it very poor. Due to their inability to make visitors welcome and trying to pack as many 4 balls together within 5mins of each other during Winter conditions when daylight was a premium made the day very UNENJOYABLE. The start master kept going round to everybody to tell them to keep up when there was no need as each group was no more than 1/2 a hole behind. Rushing people just made it worse as people made mistakes and duffed shots which meant even longer to get to the damn hole. Overall very disappointing especially when seeing the much anticipated 18th signature online.

They want to spend more money on the course, than making the club house look like something from the states..!! I emagine this course would be ok, If 1 the greens were actually putable, 2 the bunkers had sand in rather than a few bags of building sand, 3 the green keeper actually got out of bed and looked after the course.. tee's, fairways, greens were in horrendous condition..!! although it was cheap @ £15... there are more offers out there at better courses.. will not be going back thats for sure..

Wouldn?t rush back
Played the course in October when it's perhaps not at its best but I wouldn't rush back. Greens were quick and in good condition, the GPS screens on the buggies are great and the signature 18th is a great finishing hole. Negatives though it felt a bit like a business trying to turnover cash that's struggling a bit. What should be an impressive fountain out front is overflowing with algae on every level, the fairways weren't great in places, some having had a bit of a half done repair job. Bunkers weren't great and the tee boxes for the yellows were awful (the reds, blues and whites on the whole actually looked ok). Not a terrible course but not that attractive or interesting.Reviewer Rating

Reasonable course for the cost
The weather was warm and ground was dry, so plenty of roll, especially with the wind behind. Greens were very fast, too fast for my own liking. Unfortunately that was the only thing that was fast. We were a 2 ball and were held up by a slow 4 ball for 9 holes. They had noone in front of them but they wouldn't let us through till the 16th.This could put people off playing at a venue.

Disappointed
The greens and tees were in poor condition and the rough had been cut but cutting left and any ball in the rough was lostAll in all disappointing conditions

Give it a try
Very long course, plenty of chances to get your fairway woods out. Not as easy as it looks. Good Elevated Tees and good size Greens, however greens very patchy and sometimes difficult to putt on. Best played in the summer months.(Round played: Nov 2018 - Score: 109 Handicap: 19.2)

Played around here last week and although it has improved it is still not a patch on some of the Members clubs in the area. Yes it has a nice hole over water but the rest of the course is still massively lacking

book on line to save £5,ended up behind a 3 ball [we were a 2]who never used a wood for the whole round & didn't let play through,they fell way behind the group in front,never saw a marshall on the course. nearly 5hrs for the round.
