Ansty Golf club, the greens were as dry as the Sahara Desert. Me and felix couldn't reach our usual high standards due to the balls bounced off the greens every flipping time.

Greens in poor condition, tee boxes also not great with many of them sloped.
I was also wrongly accused of playing 18 holes but only paying for 9.
My first time playing there in over 5 years and I won't be rushing back anytime soon in the next 5 years.

This place is improving all the time, Was not expecting how much this course has come on in the last 3 years!! pound for pound really good value for money.Excellent to begin your golfing life.

Range balls
Hi,My wife and I visited your range today, the range is fine , but the balls we were given
to use, can only be described as disgusting and unfit for purpose, they should be
binned a.s.a.p.

This is just a midweek practice course for me,i would not pay to play the back nine as these holes are in the worst condition,at ?11 for nine holes it is better than hitting off the matts in the range.The guy in the shop is very friendly and welcoming! Some of the tees are just simply rubbish,unlevel bare no grass etc,the greens on the back nine are truelly dreadful,you can see the lines where they have installed rolls of grass...The dog leg over pond/water tee is an absolute disgrace.
It truelly is a shame that this course has no proper green keeper or regular maintenance.
It is a practice knock and that is it.It's not a hard course but the things mentioned make it hard,you cannot putt well on these greens.

Good course for beginner, nice wide fairways. Beware the rough though, some nasty shots to play when you go off course. Driving range to get you warmed up as well.

Can't agree with some of the reviews on here, maybe the course has had a bit of money spent on it in the last couple of years. I'd heard some not so great things about the course, such as it being a nightmare to get round because of the volume of people being squeezed in, and it being a bit rough around the edges. Playing at the end of January I was expecting the course to be in poor condition, like most pay and plays are at this time of year. The course was, in actual fact, in fantastic condition, fairways cut short, greens running true, and not a poor hole on the whole 18. Its not too tough a test if you know your way round and presents a lot of opportunities to get shots back. My only criticisms would be that I felt that the stroke index on some of the holes didn't make sense, and the clubhouse has seen better days.

Always enjoyed playing ansty .some good and challenging holes.dissapointed with the driving range tho.was charged £3.50 for 40 balls which were of very poor quality with at least 6 of the balls having cracks in them and we're unplayable.a real shame as no where near the quality of the courseReviewer Rating

Worth a Visit
New Management Team in place for just about a year now. Course has been turned around. The have full irrigation working now. Old dead trees and unnecessary bushes have been removed. Lots of work on the greens and approaches. Also draining very well as all the ditches have been cleaned out and a few ponds introduced to collect water.Food and drink facilities are limited but a full refurb of the clubhouse is on the way.
