What the club says: Kirkby Valley Golf Club is set on the Liverpool/Knowsley border, only 200 yards from the M57. The 18 hole course has mature tree lined fairways and the River Alt, which comes into play on several holes.

I thoroughly enjoyed the experience of playing at this golf club. The greens and fairways were well kept and loosing balls were very infrequent.Ground staff were very attentive and diligent and the grounds were kept very tidy.

Course in great condition, best ive seen it and ive been playing it for over 20 years. Only moan is the bar is more often than not, closed when we finish our round at half 6 no later than 7 oclock. Its as if they do not want to make money.Reviewer Rating

Much improved layout over the last few years. Still no sand in bunkers but greens good, quick round and a good scoring course. Value for money , only problem is very old shop and clubhouse closes early. They need big investment which I think is planned

this course is in very good condition at present and is improving all the time with the work going on, my only small downside is the 150 yardage markers or lack of them but must say this will be a very good course to play when all is finished
