Making progress
A lot of changes are being made and could see a lot of progress since last I played. Greens were in very good condition. However, a few little things continue to let it down. There a no bins on some holes and there was a lot of litter around.
The 'card' was just a printed piece of paper.
A lot of holes don't have 150 yd markers.
Play was very slow. 4 hour round for a 2 ball
No dress code. People playing in football boots!
Nobody replaces divots or repairs pitch marks.
Could be a nice course in a few years but they need to educate players on how to look after the course.

Well this is new!
Having played this course since the 1980's but not played there this year, I was so surprised to see the changes to the structure (tree removal, sculpting etc.). And then the rearranging of the back nine layout. Different and it works well. Had a new feel almost. Fairways and greens in very good condition. Cannot recommend highly enough.(Round played: Aug 2020 - Score: 86 Handicap: 14.6)

A course in transition
A nice course that's having a lot of work done to it. You can see this is going to be a gem in a couple of years time. Greens were in nice condition, running true. Some holes shorter than the card due to work being done on the tee boxes, but you can see the potential in what they are doing.(Round played: Jun 2020 - Score: 98 Handicap: 20.3)

Bunker boy
There is a lot of work going on to improve the overall course..managed to get out last week in a two ball...which was a joy just to be playing golf again...pace of play was excellent ...my only gripe.and it is one to consider..is £20 pound midweek for a muni..which during present climate appears good value..unfortunately in time, there will be better courses and deals out there.Reviewer Rating
