What the club says: Set in 130 acres of countryside the course is 6283 yards long off the yellow tees with a par of 71 (SSS 70). The signature hole is the 138 - yard par 3 eleventh. Set in a wooded dell crowned by a stream, this requires the most demanding tee shot. Throughout the course there are many streams, ponds and strategically placed bunkers that come into play making straight hitting essential to keep a respectable score card.
Mossock Hall Golf Club can boast all year round golf due to the quality of the USGA greens and the superb drainage system.

Lovely course
The condition of the course was good. The automatic GPS grass cutting machines have really improved the condition of this course over the past 2 years. Only slight negative is condition of bunkers....but this would onky be a small gripe.Reviewer Rating

Pleasantly surprised with this place. Hadn't heard of it but took a society visit here and couldn't believe how dry it was considering 6 months of rain and most courses in the area having been closed just a week or so earlier.
Greens running pretty well for the time of year and a just an all round nice setup of a course.
Nice clubhouse, nice food and nice staff.

Played the course after a couple if days of torrential rain so it was very wet but playable, enjoyable round, some long par 4s and 3 par 5s which are reachable for the longer hitters. All in all anicecourse with very reasonable green fees.

Good challenge
We are grateful to Mossock Hall for coming to the rescue of our Society, by accommodating a late replacement booking. Most of our members had not heard of Mossock Hall despite living just 25 miles away. They all left with the intention of returning to this excellent courseReviewer Rating

Nice course worth playing
First time playing Mossock Hall GC in one of their open events. Friendly welcome in pro shop and clubhouse. Well organised open competition. Nice reasonably priced food. Good practice facilities. Course in good condition, greens mint. Course is a little quirky, loads of doglegs which favour the faders. Easy walk around, fairly flat. Would I return, not sure as it didn't suit my game, but certainly worth playing at least once.Reviewer Rating

Overpriced
Course wasn't value for money, midweek visitor green was ?35?30 for a buggy was a bit steep.
No discount for county card holders even though it's listed.
Course was uninspiring and dull.
All 6 golfers said they wouldn't rush back .
Course was in good condition but fairways where rock hard,
not much rain in the month of June,
nice greens ran true.

Really liked the course and layout. Like most courses around the area there has been a lot of rain so can understand it being a bit muddy. Greens were in a bad condition compared to other courses locally, but due to excessive rain this will not of helped. Will try again in the summer in better conditions.

A lovely course
I really enjoyed playing Mossock Hall, my first round at the course. It is a very well kept course, and a credit to the Greens Keepers. I found it to be a challenging, yet forgiving course. Some of the Par 4's are really long, but they are wide so you have plenty of space.Reviewer Rating

Played for the first time - thought it was a decent course with some testing holes at the outset. Greens were in very good condition and whilst a few holes were very similar, there were some stand out holes particularly those with water hazards.Reviewer Rating
