Abacus Sportswear Glade Windwear Range Combines Function with Fashion

 Abacus Sportswear, the Swedish technical clothing brand and pioneer of high-performance stretch waterproof fabrics, has announced the introduction of a new windwear programme to its Spring/Summer 2014 (SS14) collection.

The new range of windwear entitled ‘Glade’, comprises two-tone combinations, fusing classic outerwear design with a sporty style. The ‘Glade’ garments – all windproof and water repellent - become part of the ever-popular WindVent Range.

The ‘Glade’ garments – all windproof and water repellent – are part of the abacus® WindVent Range, which keep the wearer protected against wind and cool air, while allowing the inner environment of the garment to remain at a comfortable temperature.

Abacus explain that the Glade Jacket is highly breathable and water repellent, resisting to light rain and staining, as well as extremely lightweight, allowing for the item to be packed into a small pocket-sized bag.

In line with the abacus® 1950s-inspired SS14 collection, the jacket is available in a number of bright, on-trend colours, including Cobolt, Emerald and Black for the Men and Lipstick, Blue Iris and Lemonade for Women.

The Glade Reversible Vest incorporates all the functions of the Glade and WindVent range, and is available in a variety of colours, with a reversible polka dot lining for ladies and checkered lining for men.
