GolfBuddy GPS Unveils two world exclusive products for 2014

GolfBuddy unveiled two exclusives at the 2014 PGA Merchandise Show as it announced the world's first golf GPS wristband and the market's only superfast 4" touchscreen handheld.

GolfBuddy launched its BB4 Band and PT4 Handheld as part of stunning showcase of four new GPS products, all to be launched this year.

The GolfBuddy BB4 – the world’s first golf GPS sportsband – features a comfortable and fashionable lifestyle design. Slimmer and lighter than a GPS watch, its light-up display shows the distance to the front, center and back of the green and also includes a time mode. Distances are accurate directly from the golfer's angle of approach, as opposed to some brands who only offer a fixed front center and back. You can also easily measure shot distance in meters or yards.

This sleek, modern band comes pre-loaded with more than 37,000+ courses worldwide and boasts automatic course and hole recognition so it can be used straight out of the box.

GolfBuddy PT4 - RRP £299

The GolfBuddy PT4 boasts a 4” LCD touchscreen, the largest and highest resolution screen in the handheld device category, with the capacitive screen delivering mobile smartphone levels of speed and responsiveness when touched.

Light taps and swipe gestures are recognised immediately by the screen, allowing the golfer to get instant distances to any point on any colour overhead hole layout, while the Touch 'N' Move flag function operates at superfast speeds. 

The PT4 also feels like a smartphone in the hand, being just 16mm thin - around 42% slimmer than GolfBuddy's own current flagship handheld device, the multiple Gold Award-winning Platinum, itself twice voted the UK's best GPS.

GolfBuddy WT4 - RRP £179

Bucking the trend for bulky, sports style GPS watches, the new GolfBuddy WT4 offers premium golf GPS functionality - but on a slimmer, stylish and more comfortable device.

Without a raised bezel, the brushed metal face of the WT4 sits flush to the strap, making it just 12.5 mm thick (a reduction of 21% when compared to GolfBuddy's own WT3 sports watch, now available in white for 2014).

Full target and hazard information is on offer, alongside Dynamic Green View and Moveable Pin Placement. while the scorecard can be used on any of the 37,000+ pre-loaded worldwide courses.

The WT4’s time, date and stopwatch functions mean this dynamic device can be worn every day and the clock display can be shown digitally or as an analogue face, with hands.
