Wilson Golf Adds Raw Finish to Staff Model ZM Wedges

Wilson Golf has enhanced its range of Staff Model ZM Wedges by offering a RAW finish option for golfers to consider, meaning that they could benefit from a tour-inspired style and performance.

The RAW finish, a favourite among professional players, features an uncoated, untreated surface designed to naturally rust over time. This intentional process not only delivers a distinctive, personalised look, but also eliminates glare - ideal for players seeking precision and focus in every short-game scenario.

Now available across the Staff Model ZM wedge range providing golfers with maximum spin, control, and versatility around the greens. The ZM wedge - launch last year - continues Wilson’s commitment to craftsmanship and innovation at the highest level of the game. The new finish complements the wedge’s tour-proven design and performance technologies:

  • ZM GROOVES - The deep ZM Grove pattern combined with Garnet Face Blasting ensures longer ball-to-face interaction resulting in consistently high spin rates and control in all weather conditions;
  • GARNET BLASTED FACE - The rough Garnet Blasting grabs the ball as it slides up the face of the wedge which results in enhanced spin rates;
  • MILLED PATTERN - Microgrooves milled in between each full groove ensure maximum feel and control around the green.

"The RAW finish can enhance feel off the face when hitting approach shots, so for golfers who want a more responsive feel at their fingertips, the RAW wedge is a great option," said Harry Nodwell, Manager, Product Line at Wilson Golf. "To get the finish, we remove the plating on the face allowing for oxidation to occur which results in rusting of the club head. Also, when  introducing water, you will notice the club head starting to rust quicker. Some golfers like the weathered look as it also helps prevent any sun glare at address, plus, it adds a unique and personalised look in the bag," he added.

The wedges are available in 50, 52, 54, 56, 58 and 60 degrees and cost £159.
