RAM Axial Forged Irons Review

Rich with history, many golf fans of the 1970s and 80s associated Ram Golf with legends such as Tom Watson, Nick Price, Gary Player and Raymond Floyd, but the manufacturer has been revamped to deliver something exciting for golfers today.

Sold directly to consumers, Ram's Axial Forged Irons are targeted towards better players and are available at an exceptional price of under £400 in the UK and just over $500 in the United States.

These might just be the best value forged irons on the market - and Golfshake's Ryan Rastall wanted to find out more. 

Our Equipment Expert, the PGA Professional at Howley Hall Golf Club in Leeds, put them to the test. The irons boast a slimmer top line, a narrower sole and muscle back style. Additionally, the Axial irons feature forged heads, CNC milling and a slightly tapered sole to help get the clubhead through the turf.
