What the club says: You will find the parkland course is easy walking, and a fair challenge to golfers of all abilities.
Generous fairways are often tree lined and large greens give you a good target to aim at. Once on the green the superb putting surface always gives you a chance to get down in two.

Always a pleasure to play.
Nice mix of holes, easy start then some challenging elevation changes 3-6. Gets a bit tighter before ending on a few tough holes as you head back to the club house. Watch the clubhouse window on 18! Really worth a visit.

Good greens plus a few quirky holes
Played here for first time with a gift voucher. Very enjoyable experience. Relatively short course off the yellows but some interesting holes. 6th across the access road a bit unnerving for a first timer. Liked the dry penalty ditches so you could retrieve your ball! Very nicely presented, excellent greens (which we also enjoy at my home club, rarely rivalled elsewhere). Only disappointment was no catering, not even a cheese roll, when we had been advised there would be food available.

Good COurse
Very pleasant course in a nice setting . Well kept with enough hazards to keep you thinking without being too hard.(Round played: Jul 2020 - Score: 114 Handicap: 30.9)

Lovely course

I?m sure it?s really nice in summer
Unfortunately the course is under a lot of repair and some of the greens were closed! The combination of some temporary greens and playing off mats on the fairway just spoilt the round for me! The course layout is lovely and it is probably a lovely course to play in the summer with some tricky holes.

Enjoyed this one!
Another course for me that I haven't played in a long time (I know I have though has I have a ball marker and pitch repairer from here from years ago.) It's one that has recently found it's way onto our society list and I played it this weekend thanks with the Rabbits Team at my home course!Really enjoyed it here - some very interesting holes and a really pleasing start - got a bit wet through holes 6,7,8 and this had a detrimental effect on my overall card - but prior to the rain (and after it) the fairways were running well, the tees were nicely cut, the greens were tricky but true and there was sand in the bunkers.
It was a very good venue!

quirky
Not the longest but you have to stay engaged and think where you want to be after each shot. Really good find in a place you wouldn't expect to find such a fine golf course.(Round played: Aug 2018 - Score: 115 Handicap: 28.6)

Always a pleasure to play.
Great variety of holes, some quirky holes which will test club selection. Food in the clubhouse was excellent.

Nice Place
Course in great condition, greens v true. Not the fastest round as were out behind a seniors match.(Round played: May 2018 - Score: 95 Handicap: 20.1)

Friday club
Stunning and difficult course not helped with the weather but fair play to the golf shop as they have offered us half price golf next time due to the bad conditions we played in(Round played: Apr 2018 - Score: 105 Handicap: 25)
