the course overall was in poor shape. greens were awful with patches of turf placed all over the place. I realize weather has not been good but we have played on courses all around west and south yorkshire in the past few weeks and this was the worst one

I?m sure it?s really nice in summer
Unfortunately the course is under a lot of repair and some of the greens were closed! The combination of some temporary greens and playing off mats on the fairway just spoilt the round for me! The course layout is lovely and it is probably a lovely course to play in the summer with some tricky holes.Reviewer Rating

The course was in poor condition bare patches on the green and only 17 holes were open without prior notification. It will take 12-18 months for this course to recover. Do not recommend it for 2016.

Round played: Apr 2016. Facilities very good, greens remarkably quick and pretty smooth as well. But some areas of the course clearly overworked during the winter, so bare, muddy lies often close to the green was not good. some significant green work on two par 3s marred the visit, but will revisit and expect to see improvement.
