Callaway MAVRIK Fairway Woods - Tech Talk

By: Golfshake Editor | Fri 03 Apr 2020

Like the Callaway Mavrik Driver, the new Mavrik Fairway Wood has been engineered through the use of Artificial Intelligence, featuring a uniquely designed Flash Face to work specifically for the shape and size of the head. The Flash Face SS20 is developed for fast ball speed, and the speed characteristics are enhanced through forged steel face construction.

Additionally, the Face Cup has been improved, with Jailbreak Technology in place to encourage distance, factors promoted through extensive testing the Callaway R&D Team. As expected, the Mavrik Sub Zero is a lower spin model for those so inclined.

Golfshake's Ryan Rastall has already tested and reviewed the Mavrik Fairway Wood, but for more insight behind the technology and innovation, we met Dr Alan Hocknell, who explained the work that went into the new range, and what golfers can expect from the clubs.
