Callaway MAVRIK Fairway Woods Review

By: Golfshake Editor | Tue 14 Jan 2020 | Comments

Included within Callaway's striking new MAVRIK Family of Golf Clubs, the new MAVRIK Fairway Wood has received the Artificial Intelligence treatment, with every club featuring a uniquely designed Flash Face to work specifically for the shape and size of the head. The Flash Face SS20 is developed for remarkably fast ball speed, and MAVRIK’s speed characteristics are enhanced through forged steel face construction.

Beyond that, the Face Cup has been improved, with proven Jailbreak Technology in place to encourage distance, factors promoted through extensive testing the Callaway R&D Team. As expected, the MAVRIK Sub Zero is a lower spin model for those so inclined, with MAVRIK MAX delivering that added support to golfers who need it.

Golfshake's Ryan Rastall has taken these new fairway woods to his Performance Centre at Howley Hall Golf Club in Leeds, testing them with the aid of TrackMan 4 for a detailed analysis. You can see Ryan's thoughts below, starting with the MAVRIK MAX.

Additionally, Ryan has assessed the MAVRIK Sub Zero Fairway Wood for us.
