American Golf Game Improvement Zone Opened at Boundary Lakes

By: Golfshake Editor | Tue 09 Jan 2018

Ageas Bowl's Boundary Lakes Golf Course has joined forces with the popular brand American Golf to unveil a brand-new American Golf Game Improvement Zone.

Located adjacent to the course’s picture-perfect eighteenth hole, the Zone will be used to encourage further game improvement for golfers across the region, with Boundary Lakes’ home professionals on hand to provide custom-fittings, private tuition, group lessons and a range of other services.

These services are available free of charge when a customer purchases any golf club from the course’s American Golf Store.

Director of Golf, Shaun Hall said: “We’re thrilled to launch the American Golf Game Improvement Zone – it’s an excellent addition to the course which gives guests and members alike the opportunity and facilities to find the best equipment to suit their game. It’s also a great way for players to improve with the state-of-the-art practice areas here and guidance from our experienced professionals.”

American Golf Store Manager, David Miles said: “The new Game Improvement Zone will give golfers the chance to have their new set of clubs customised to them and their individual games, as well as learn a huge amount about shot saving and game improvement from our experienced team. Our six steps of fitting and the service we offer combine to create a bespoke experience that will help players to drive their own games forward.”

The new addition to the par-69 course arrives at one of the South’s most exciting venues – one which already comprises a stunning 171-bedroom Hilton hotel, a Sir Ian Botham-inspired BEEFY’S brasserie restaurant, Lakeview Sports Bar and luxurious eforea spa.

Off course facilities including Boundary Lakes’ brand-new Boundary Club clubhouse and American Golf store are all housed within the luxury Hilton at the Ageas Bowl.

Last year, Boundary Lakes experienced phenomenal demand for membership packages, with a waiting list active for seven-day memberships.

A number of short-term five-day memberships can still be snapped up, ahead of a new membership offering to be launched in April, whilst pay and play green fees at the course begin from just £20.
