Challenging course to plot your way around, miss the fairway at your peril!! Very friendly staff, drinks cart was excellent keeping us hydrated and not bad prices. Greens are very evenly paced and true

Challenging
Be prepared for a long walk in between holes , a buggy would be ideal if you can afford one that is, found quite a few holes were blind which was challenging I did enjoy the course I class myself as reasonably fit but I found it hard going physically I am a high handicapper so probably wouldn't want to play here regularly that said the greens are in fantastic condition overall really nice course plus a clubhouse is definitely needed as you don't really feel part of a club in my opinion I would say it is a course for the more advance golfer to enjoy but as I said challenging but very nice overallReviewer Rating

Hilly Course
This layout has changed over the last few years with the introduction of new holes. The course is next to Hampshire cricket ground and the hotel. It starts fairly gently but soon the slopes/hills take over so you'll need to be pretty fit. The greens are excellent and a lot of work has gone into improving the course. Worth a visit especially if you combine with say an evening cricket match.Reviewer Rating

Underwhelmed
Played as a fourball and there is an acceptance by everyone we spoke with it’s gonna be slow. It was, we were held up by a just by shear volume of players. The course changes/layout don’t facilitate a reasonable pace of play. Greens were great but fairways were bare and all most impossible to hold tee shots on resulting in most blind tee shots running into areas unseen again slowing play.Was looking forward to the course but despite some interesting holes it just didn’t meet the price tag.

you should play this
The course has changed and the middle third (8-12) is all difficult, and can mess your card,Tough course , get out of position and you will dop shots , greens have movement and are quick for this time of year,

Tougher and hillier than expected
Fantastic greens.A lot of blind tee shots.
There have been a number of course changes, but they weren't very well signposted.
