What the club says: At East Horton, we never forget that golf is to be enjoyed by members, guests and visitors. And you cannot fail to enjoy your golf in a setting like this.
The stunning 6,186 yard Championship-standard Greenwood Course was re-designed in 2009 by Ryder Cup player Guy Hunt. The Parkland Course is a challenging 5,672 yard Championship golf course, set on beautiful, mature parkland. And The Marwell Course is a 1,000 yard, 9-hole, par 3 that is ideal for a quick round, and for youngsters and learners.

Avoid like the plague
What used to be a great course is now neglected and ridiculously over priced. The owners are not investing in the golf courses and therefore have been left without sufficient maintenance. Tee boxes are bare, bunkers are like clay, everything is overgrown, every green is different with big chucks from birds effecting the roll.Every green different. £44 a round is a disgrace.
Plenty of far better and cheaper courses nearby. Avoid.

Worth a visit
Course played well considering the lack of rain. Tees were extremely dry and putting a tee peg in difficult. Good coverage on the fairways and the greens ran true. Staff were friendly and helpful with food very good pReviewer Rating

Lovely layout, but it cannot deal with the rain.
Lovely course -Greenwood. But if there's a bit of rain in the last week or so it becomes unplayable. Play in the dry only! The condition of the course is... poor at best. Its a little frustrating as it had a real good course layout, just seems like they don't want to invest in it. It could be one of the nicest ones if looked after. Ground staff do have 45 holes to look after though I suppose. No pro shop. Greenside bar is nice.

Challenging
The course condition was generally ok to good. It's quite interesting and varied and course management definitely needed for a good score. It is very challenging with many steep hills and I would say rather too much long grass just off fairways - so a lot of time trying to find balls (eventually finding more than losing)Reviewer Rating

Parkland
Played early on a lovely summers day. The course looked in very good condition and was easy to navigate from Green to Tee. In some ways it was a forgiving course but there a few hazards particularly ditches. Overall a very enjoyable experience.Reviewer Rating

Lovely course
Played the Parkland course at the weekend for the first time. What a little gem! Friendly staff, course in good shape with bouncy fairways and greens the best I’ve played on so far this year. Not a long course and might not be enough of a challenge for some - but for high handicappers and occasional golfers it offers plenty of challenges without being too punative. Great value for money and will definitely be going back. Only drawback seems to be an outbreak of mole hills on some fairways?!Reviewer Rating

Very disappointed
I returned as a visitor to the Greenwood course having been a member until 2018. I was really disappointed with the condition of the course. Clearly some work has been done on the drainage but overall the fairways are very poor as are the greens. The bunkers are virtually unplayable with so many stones and clay like sand. There are areas of wet particularly on the 14th green where one of my playing partners slipped and fell. Considering the cost of £31 per round, I feel that it does not represent value for money and will certainly not be returning.Reviewer Rating
