What The Club Says

At East Horton, we never forget that golf is to be enjoyed by members, guests and visitors. And you cannot fail to enjoy your golf in a setting like this.

The stunning 6,186 yard Championship-standard Greenwood Course was re-designed in 2009 by Ryder Cup player Guy Hunt. The Parkland Course is a challenging 5,672 yard Championship golf course, set on beautiful, mature parkland. And The Marwell Course is a 1,000 yard, 9-hole, par 3 that is ideal for a quick round, and for youngsters and learners.

Interesting Course

Lots to choose from here with two eighteen hole courses and par three.
Recovering well from a hot dry summer. The tee boxes are in very poor shape on the yellow tees but the rest of the course in good condition with the greens running true and a very good pace. Good clubhouse and food complement this facility.

Avoid like the plague

What used to be a great course is now neglected and ridiculously over priced. The owners are not investing in the golf courses and therefore have been left without sufficient maintenance. Tee boxes are bare, bunkers are like clay, everything is overgrown, every green is different with big chucks from birds effecting the roll.
Every green different. £44 a round is a disgrace.
Plenty of far better and cheaper courses nearby. Avoid.

Worth a visit

Course played well considering the lack of rain. Tees were extremely dry and putting a tee peg in difficult. Good coverage on the fairways and the greens ran true. Staff were friendly and helpful with food very good p

I played the Parklands course last weekend. The course should not have been open, totally flooded. Not many courses where you can lose your golf ball on the fairway, due to the amount of water and soft mud. On the par 3 eighth hole had to run from the tee box to the fairway otherwise you would sink into the mud. On the positive side I will not be playing there again. The green keepers have a big job on their hands trying to fix the damage due to the amount of mud on the fairways and greens. Good Luck

Lovely layout, but it cannot deal with the rain.

Lovely course -Greenwood. But if there's a bit of rain in the last week or so it becomes unplayable. Play in the dry only! The condition of the course is... poor at best. Its a little frustrating as it had a real good course layout, just seems like they don't want to invest in it. It could be one of the nicest ones if looked after. Ground staff do have 45 holes to look after though I suppose.
No pro shop. Greenside bar is nice.
