Dont waste your money. Mickey mouse golf course

Let me sum this place up.. Very poor to say the least and took all those years to open as a 18 hole as well. Poor parking available. Pathways are laughable. Tell me when an average amateur golfer can overhit the green from tee shot on a par 4 and overshoot the green on a par 5 second shot... YOU CAN HERE!! dissapointing to say the least. GUR everywhere. Playing surface was reminiscant of your local council recreation ground. £30 to play at weekends. Rude pro shop staff. Only been there twice and they messed the booking up on both occasions. WONT BE GOING BACK!! I reckon the course architect must of been mickey mouse. Too many blind shots that you can be punished for hitting an ok shot.Try elsewhere!!

Save your money - some false reviews

Save your money and play elsewhere, some very false and misleading reviews about this course. Pretty terrible on most fronts.

Not worth full price currently!

?30 for the round, there is lots of GUR, moved tee boxes, even a matt in use. Pathways dug up and lots of work underway for the new holes. It's simply not worth the money in the condition it's in, a shame as I've enjoyed my rounds here previously at ?25

Need to play this course at least twice so you know where you are going. Some tee shots are blind and even a second or third shot on some of the holes you still aren't sure where the ball will land.

Good course but very overrated

Very poor service in Pro-shop, we were a party of 14 and had buggies booked for 3 days, 1st day all good, 2nd day 1 buggy short and we were promised there would be no problem for the next day, on Sunday final day of our golf break we were advised there were no buggies despite the fact we had email confirmation in June that this was all booked, the staff in the Pro-shop couldn't care that some of our party had to return home early due to being unable to play 3rd round. Attitude shown was disgusting and I shall never return. In conclusion the course is overbooked with us having 3 5-1/2 hour rounds, give it a miss until they get it sorted

Possibly the noisiest course I've played on this year.

For the first few holes the noise from the roads made it hard to hear people speak. Once we got away into the course we found that there was significant reconstruction going on. Lorries. Diggers. Something that seemed to be crushing rocks. Clouds of dust floating across the fairways. And noise!

Several new greens under deveoplment. Banks. Lots of investment.

You can't make an omelette without breaking eggs - but would I have spent £30 if I knew it was a building site?

On the positive side - Pro shop very helpful - apart from not telling us we needed hard hats and fluorecesent jackets. Greens - very good. Bunkers had lots of sand! Although no one had used a rake in any of them.

Fairways - rock hard and not much grass but that is true everywhere.

Standing on the 18th Island green and looking back across the water at the course, with the Cricket Stadium behind me you can see what a god course this will be.

We will be back. Just not this year.

Hotel Course

Played in very dry conditions which made keeping the ball in play very difficult. There are one or two blind tee shots that don’t help a fast running ball. Greens were of a good standard
