Delightful Course
I have been playing this course for the last six years and me and my fellow golfers love it.Low handicappers might not find the course challenging enough but it's ideal for us high handicappers (18 to 23).
It seems like a hidden gem because it's rarely busy and we can't always get a tee time. Perhaps the lack of a club house is the reason why but there are three great places to eat/drink in the village.
The course itself is well maintained and advert picturesque .

Hidden gem
Delightful well kept course, ideal for higher handicappers like me. There is no clubhouse which may explain why there are always plenty of tee times available; all bookings taken online.It truly feels like millionaires golf with so few people playing at any one time despite wonderful fairways, greens and surroundings.

Well worth the visit
A course well worth the visit first nine a mix of short and longer holes course up and down dales a little bit. back nine flat compared to the front 9 but longer and ok if you can hit the ball a long way. Three lots of water on the back nine including the 18th which is nearly an island green so you have to be carefully with either your drive or second shot. Could it be made better the course not really but improvements could be made with the addition of more practice areas and maybe the club house opening if only at the weekendReviewer Rating

oh what has happened, bring back PayPal
Disaster on website booking system. PayPal has gone.....Don't know whether I had reserved tee time or not, had to call the club, who didn't know either but were great to help us onto the course but please please please sort out this payment system. Can't be doing with asking the bank to authorise the payment as well as paying with card.Reviewer Rating

beautiful course

Greens are in good condition but the the ground round the edges are a bit grassless this could be due to the hot weather when watering the greens and the sun burning the not so wet edges. Fairways are also beginning to recover from the sun drying everything out.

Great course, with an interesting layout and challenges. Unique with an online pre-book only. No club facilities. Very few players on the course, allowing you to play at leisure, with no pressure.

Always a pleasure
Played many times over the years, always enjoy coming back. Not a traditional club in one sense that it hasn't really got a club house but works fine without it. Plenty of food places near if you fancy some grub or drink before play (or after, nice pub by the river :-) ) I suppose its set up to get round without having to spend ages finding for your ball in the rough but its perfectly manicured, with good fairways and greens, bunkers need a bit of work. Greens look good on the first nine but a bit bobbly, maybe needs the roller on them. Fairways and greens excellent on the back nine even though greens on the slow side. You still have to think about your shots even though not particularly long. Some lovely views all round especially off the 3rd green. Love the holes with water hazards especially the feature hole 18, with water nearly surrounding the green. Will be back soon :-)Reviewer Rating

Great course for a pay and play whatever the weather condition. Course dries quickly and not too challenging for high handicappers. No proper club House and no buggies but very enjoyable surroundings.

Wide open well groomed fairways
Here is a course that needs (and gets) constant mowing! There are some interesting holes amongst some mundane. The booking system is hard work and confusing. Played early December so weather wasn't great and course generally pretty wet, that said managed to get round with no real issues greens in good condition, enjoyable round.

good course
course very wet but expected after the rain over the past 48 hours fairways all ok except in a couple of places greens very good considering the weather conditions. due to covid conditions club house, changing room all closed.(Round played: Dec 2020 - Score: 104 Handicap: 21.7)
