Delightful Course
I have been playing this course for the last six years and me and my fellow golfers love it.Low handicappers might not find the course challenging enough but it's ideal for us high handicappers (18 to 23).
It seems like a hidden gem because it's rarely busy and we can't always get a tee time. Perhaps the lack of a club house is the reason why but there are three great places to eat/drink in the village.
The course itself is well maintained and advert picturesque .

surprising good shape
as the wet weather comes to an end, I was looking to see whether Welford had drained well and it had. There were hardly any slippery areas of mud that I experienced on other courses making this a particularly safe outing. The green, tee areas and fairways all played wellReviewer Rating

Delightful Course

immaculate as always

Hidden gem
Delightful well kept course, ideal for higher handicappers like me. There is no clubhouse which may explain why there are always plenty of tee times available; all bookings taken online.It truly feels like millionaires golf with so few people playing at any one time despite wonderful fairways, greens and surroundings.

Well worth the visit
A course well worth the visit first nine a mix of short and longer holes course up and down dales a little bit. back nine flat compared to the front 9 but longer and ok if you can hit the ball a long way. Three lots of water on the back nine including the 18th which is nearly an island green so you have to be carefully with either your drive or second shot. Could it be made better the course not really but improvements could be made with the addition of more practice areas and maybe the club house opening if only at the weekendReviewer Rating
