Ok course, needs bit more looking after which it looked like the new owners were doing. Be good to go back in a few months and see if they have made the course better.

Course is ok: some interesting holes on back 9, last 3 are good. Also some nice par 3s on 6 and 10. Unfortunately it isn't great quality land and so greens and fairways can be pretty average. Some holes are just a track, filler holes on way to the next one. At £35 a round it doesn't compare to say HoeBridge as a value for money paynplay.

The course is really soggy and greens bumpy, but I guess taking to account the ammount of rain we've had that is no surprise. I always enjoy playing this layout, but this course needs another week of sunshine to dry it out to a playable level.

I'm not a huge fan of pay and play because I grew up playing fast rounds on a private course. But Traditions was a really pleasant surprise. It's a good, challenging course with great staff in both the pro shop and the clubhouse. We played as a two-ball and the pro was really helpful about suggesting the best start times. First round was clear, second time the four-ball ahead immediately let us through. The people on the course looked like they knew what they were doing and there was an absence of hackers. If you pick your day and your time, this place is definitely worth a visit.

Very good test of golf for the accomplished player in these weather conditions.
The rough can be quite punishing and hard to find your ball let alone play it.
Still very enjoyable test if you are up for the challenge.

Nice course, tricky in parts open in others. Course was in a bad way 12 months ago but is slowly improving. Greens a lot better, fairways could do with some more tlc though. Overall for early bird price of £20 its worth it.
