Testing course

A very testing course, for novices. Lots of water and narrow fairways, plus tracks across the fairways. Having said that, it was interesting to play it and will do again.

Getting better and better

Played this course many times over the years. The new owners really have taken this club by the horns with much needed investment especially on the greens. Must play in 2018!

Interesting course with quite a few hazards to watch out for. Course in god nick and well worth playing. Great food in lounge.

Traditions has been bought out and is now know as Twisted Stone G C. The course should get better over the next few months

Now renamed 'Twisted Stone' this is a wonderfully designed course which is, unfortunately, not very well maintained.

Rough greens and lots of GUR bunkers.

That said, I thoroughly enjoyed the round and I will definitely be back. Lots of memorable holes, every one different.

If i had a spare £20m I'd buy the course and invest in it. I was amazed the course was empty on a Sunday morning. Couldn't get a tee time at most other courses in the area.

Freezing Weather, but the course was open. Very enjoyable round despite the challenges of putting on ice. THe bunkers were GUR occasionally as the course drainage is being improved.

Many water hazards and some tight shots through trees watch out for double ditches on hole 17 with overhead power lines.

Played this morning 07/09/16 and found the greens are quite water damaged and rough, the green staff were out cutting and clearing the greens and made us wait on several holes and it seamed deliberate as they kept stopping and talking until we tee'd off which ruined the round.
The bunkers are struggling in places again due to bad drainage, the girls in the clubhouse are excellent nothing is too much trouble and always had a smile.
I played this course about 5 weeks ago and both the greens and bunkers were fine so maybe a little drainage problem overhaul to be sorted but I would defiantly go back and play as two ball with a buggy was £40 which is excellent value.
I look forward to playing again soon when a little more attention has been payed to the state of the course.

Friendly staff. Great couse although the greens need some attention. The only minus was the lack of a chef for breakfast.
