Won’t rush back
Bad greens, simple as. Apparently £30 at weekends, there’s many course in the area cheaper with much better greens than this. Bobbly, bare, patchy. Loads of new tees but the greens need urgent attention. Totally dry and not watered at allReviewer Rating

Found layout rather confusing but playing with a member helped.
Rough very punishing most areas off fairway totally wild with numerous trees & shrubs & long wild grass. I get tired rather easily so had buggy thus distances not an issue nor were they for my 42 year old buddie , but if at all unfit get mobile !!
Ignoring surrounding overgrown areas I found fairway & greens very acceptable , elevated Tee's nice to play off but stairways far too steep tall steps etc rather dangerous for the less nimble !!
And then heaven on the back nine where you are presented with great views lovely contoured and presented fairways a real pleasure to play.
I will come back no problem but will require Buggy , Course quite , Satnav type rangefinder.
Welcome bar cafe etc lovely and reasonable , staff great.
This has great potential with intelligent development and a Big wallet , being well situated in superb a setting , I wish them good luck.

In summary......its a grower. The first time I played here I was unsure about the layout and the professionalism of the set up [rakes for flag sticks]. However, this has all been ironed out - with the introduction of Clarkes at the Golf Centre/Temp Clubhouse.
Fees are more reasonable than the overpriced previous and the course is in better condition with clearer signage and suitable equipment.
Its still a relatively new track and as such there are a lot of under developed rough/tree areas - but this doesnt detract from the round. The course is a good mix between length and thoughtful shorter holes and considering the poor weather we have had [and I experienced on the day] the course was very well drained with quick greens and no plugging of balls.
This was designed to be a championship course and the foundations are there. When the new club house eventually opens and the course is moved about to suit this....this is going to be a real gem. Get a round in now whilst its still affordable.
