Poor
Not the most welcoming. Greens very average. Tees bald and muddy. Won’t be back anytime soonReviewer Rating

Won’t rush back
Bad greens, simple as. Apparently £30 at weekends, there’s many course in the area cheaper with much better greens than this. Bobbly, bare, patchy. Loads of new tees but the greens need urgent attention. Totally dry and not watered at allReviewer Rating

Awful
Terrible, greens not maintained during lockdown, most dry as a bone. They Must have tried to do something about it by covering them in some grainy material that actually stunk of chicken poo (I think it was) and would build up on your ball as it rollled on the green.Never again

Disappointing
Just to start, I love berrington Hall, quality course with challenging holes. Unfortunately ( as sort of expected) there were a lot of temp greens and temp tee boxes. tees was fine but the temp greens just took the fun away from this course, will certainly ring ahead in future to ensure they have the full greens available.Reviewer Rating

Played this course last week for the first time for 18 months, an in all honesty its probably the worse course ive played for a very long time, although it was never going to reach the heights of its original owner ambitions for the course,it had potential to be a half decent course, unfortunetly the place has regressed so much its got to be classed as a track to give a wide berth to

Pros:
- Nice Layout, some interesting dog legs and also some nice up and down shots to play from tees or to greens. Great potential.
Cons:
- Firstly, the courses own website states it drains well, it does not. The weather has been lovely all week, it rained for a couple of hours last night and the course was ruined. Puddles and casual water galore.
- Greens were very inconsistent, not maintained well enough in my opinion. Some holes had been cut and some hadnt.
- Greens also not very good quality, on both mown and none-mown greens the ball bounced to the hole rather than rolled.
Ive played many many courses in the north west and this one is easily the worst Ive played.
Such a shame, I could only imagine this course being worth the money you pay during our few driest months of the year. After rain or out of summer, best avoiding this course
