What the club says: Berrington Hall Golf Club 18 hole course is set in 260 acres of quiet natural parkland with a heathland feel to parts of which native gorse grows throughout. Natural water features form part of the layout which brings wildlife to the forefront of this wonderful course

Good Parkland Track
Set in stunning countryside, the course is beautifully laid out through mature woodland, with each hole offering a distinct challenge and sense of seclusion.The design makes superb use of the natural landscape, with fairways weaving their way between the trees and water hazards thoughtfully placed throughout the course to keep you on your toes. One of the standout features is the superb par-3 6th — a fantastic hole that combines beauty and difficulty, requiring both accuracy and nerve.
The condition of the course is excellent, with the greens in particular standing out — true, quick, and consistent throughout the round. Whether you're a seasoned golfer or a keen amateur, Berrington Hall offers a top-quality experience that’s well worth a visit.

Terrible greens
Was looking forward to returning here as they were doing some work last year when I last visited. The new tees are ok but very uneven.The worst bit however is the greens. Very dry, grass was very long and bare patches all over them. Theres no excuse as the weather has been great too.
A real shame and I won’t be returning

Well worth the money!....
Been coming here for years and you can see now all the hard work the team have put in is really paying off! It'll be even better still in the next few years once the trees have matured more...in really good condition given the amount of bad weather we've had these past few months...Reviewer Rating

Course was in excellent condition greens were quick nice welcome at clubhouse and members were also welcoming just slow play ahead in competition ended in a five hour round but members were very epoligetic overall a great place to play

Terrible condition
Played here with a society after the course had apparently been closed for the week. Now it’s been wet which is to be expected but this course is gone miles downhill. Tees were all flooded and mats were awful. Greens poor, no green staff around, no course prep. Really disappointed as I’ve played here a couple of times before in previous winters and it was never this bad. Food was good though.Reviewer Rating

It's getting there....
Been going to Berrington for a good few years now, not frequent but every few months...you can see the work they've put into it is starting to pay off and the course / tee boxes etc are getting more picturesque and pleasing to the eye. Fair play to them as its been a work in progress that's felt like it's gone on for ages....Will definitely be going back as you can't beat the value for money, challenge and locality...

Go in Summer
In two minds with this review. I would say if you are not someone who plays all year and wants a knock in the summer give it a go. It’s good value for money. If you are looking for a winter venue or want to play all year round I would say cross this one off your list. It is a course that will be on temporary greens when all others are on a full course. I have played it in beautiful winter sunshine, with no mud and shirt sleeves and it has been on 17/18 winter greens. Better options in the area for all year golf which is a shame.Reviewer Rating

Exceptional value for money
I have been a regular visitor at Berrington Hall got a few years, the course this weekend is the best I have played it.The work carried out over the last few years has really come to fruition.
The course is in fantastic condition and the greens are so true and still getting quicker.
The practice area is now complete and the club house has been refurbished.
Exceptional value and a real golf test.

Great course
Played here today and couldn’t believe how good the course was ! Fairways lush and greens really really nice , some tee boxes really hard but understandable considering the dry weather we have had , definitely will be back soon and for £25 what value we’ll better than all the courses around the area !!Reviewer Rating
