Course is in the best shape for a long time. fairways very good and greens pretty good, although like a lot of courses struggled with the dry cold weather. New tee's are a good addition, although the older tee's need some TLC. Greens also could do with some water and a closer cut. Hopefully better weather will see the course improve further.

Downside is the lack of practise and warm up facilities.

Albion golf society

Must be the best value £25 golf society course Bacon barm and coffee on arrival 18 holes on a very interesting layout. Couple of fairways a bit tatty but greens perfect and chip barm to finish. Highly recommended

A long walk

The course is newish and with the good weather, dry and in good condition. The only problem are the greens, which are very slow as they don?t seem to have any irrigation for watering them. The layout is ok but the distance between holes is ridiculously long with 150/200 yards between some greens and the next tee. The hospitality is good and COVID safe. Will play again but with a buggy.

Massively improved, well worth playing

The work gone into and the ongoing works are making this course and club a very good club to be a member of. Greens and new tees have greatly improved the course since last year. Best I?ve ever seen it. Big pat on the back for everyone involved in the improvements.

First time back here in a few months. Course was in very good condition considering the amount of rain there has been. Greens are looking good still and i expect they'll be very good next summer. New tee boxes look the part, and winter one's decent enough. will definitely be back

Lots of work going on on this course around the tees. I can't wait to see it next summer. Good course some real challenging holes. Struggles with drainage in some areas.

Great course

Great course which caters for all golf skills. Front 9 are shorter with lots of hazards demands good judgement re club choice. Back 9 are longer but with less hazards so the key is hitting straight and keeping to the fairways to give yourself a chance of a good score. All in all a great course to play and not stupidly expensive. Some re-modelling of tee areas currently being undertaken (which didn't spoil the game) and practice area has been developed but not currently available for use.

Second round in a week here. Still works going on with new tees, which impact play a little but will have a positive impact next year. greens improving slowly and hopefully good course management over the winter will see them in good condition next year. Next on the list after the tee boxes should be to bring some of the bunkers in to play, as many are in odd places.

Disappointing

There seems to be a lot of ground works ongoing, sadly this does not seem to extend to the tees. Very poor tee boxes with little to no flat ground d and for the most part very little grass.

Played the course last night for the first time in 4 months. Lots of improvements. Fairways were very nice (perhaps a little long on some holes), and rough was mostly good (bit long in places). Greens on the front 9 were much improved, however the back 9 were still quite poor. There is however signs of work being done to improve them so hopefully that pays off for next season. Tee boxes were generally OK, however the new tee boxes on several holes are going to add great value to the course next year. Overall a much improved course post lockdown and good value.
