AS A LOCAL TO THIS CLUB I JOINED BACK IN SEPTEMBER AND GOT 18 MONTHS MEMBERSHIP FOR THE PRICE OF 12 WITH NO JOINING FEE, WHAT A BARGAIN THAT IS TURNING OUT TO BE. GREENS ARE ALL OPEN, TEES ARE MUCH BETTER, AND THE SCENERY LOOKS BETTER EVERY TIME I PLAY. JOIN NOW BECAUSE ONCE THAT CLUBHOUSE OPENS THE MEMBERS WILL GO THROUGH THE ROOF. WELL DONE NWN

Go and play it. I can agree with the previous comments having played it when new but now it's a lot better. It's not the finished article but the greens, fairways and tee boxes are unrecognisable from 12 months ago. £18 through the week 22 at the weekend. Noticeably dry a even after so much rain which has only done the course good.
Still take plenty of balls. Grab a bacon and sausage balm ( generous to say the least)
The shops beltin aswell.
A good course if u like your driver, yardage is tee to front of green and the greens are about 38 yards long each. think one is 49 yards!
It's had bad press but go and see it for yourself.

Poor greens
Played here a couple of times last year and again this week. Having played a few other courses in the local area I thought the greens would be on a par. They weren’t. The greens were very dry, hard and dusty with patches. The rest of the course is good with some good looking new tees. Love the course but these greens are way off where they should beReviewer Rating

Keep hearing lots of negatives. .but really.it's a very testing golf course..with some great shaped holes.which keeps your interest til the end..I know some tees and greens need some tlc.and a good walk between some tees..golf is to try and keep you fit.?.but the weather this year has not helped ..so with further investment this will be a belted in time

All the golfers who posted negative views of he course need to return and play again\The course has new owners who have put a lot of money into the course incl new machinery \The greens are now fantastic and the rest of the course is in the process of improvement for 2016

Played yesterday and found greens in great condition and fairways running well ,surprised how busy the course was but still got round in under four hours.The clubhouse is now open and served great food with live sport screens on all walls which was again busy with golfers playing snooker and pool while others seemed to have been drinking most of the day,but good atmosphere.

Friendly staff and great food.Enjoyed the challenging 18 hole course on a sunny windless day and will definatley be back as it tamed me !!!

Played the course for the first time today Tuesday 2nd may 2012. Thought I would give it a go as it's local and only costing £18. Stu in the shop was very helpful and gave me a run down on directions to the first Tee, the course was in very good condition , front 9 longish but forgiving, the back 9 was very nice and a bit more testing.I really enjoy my round and will be going back soon.

A new course that needs time to mature, but the foundations are there to be a great course. From the whites this course will challenge the best. Only needs the greens to be looked after a little better and this would get 5 stars.

Really surprised how much the course has matured since we played about a year ago.A real test of golf !!! This course in time will be one of the best around.
