The course is a challenge to say the least but everything from tees to greens was in superb condition, greens were receptive and in really a good condition in fact we all commented how good they were .
Everyone agreed it was the best course we had played in years

The greens were poor in comparison to equivalent courses in the area and nobody seemed to own a pitch mark repairer, That aside, very enjoyable and a good challenge and nice setting. Played on a £30 twilight voucher and would play again but only on the same deal. £4.75 a pint,

It can play as long as you want - it was a fair challenge from the yellows, with wide, relatively forgiving fairways and greens that require precise approaches to the correct spot. Some beautifully designed and very challenging run off areas that will leave you with awkward chips. Even on the shorter par 4s, scoring is enticingly difficult.
Water in play on almost every hole, again with subtle run-offs from the fairways pulling your ball towards the hazard.
Although it had been extremely wet the fairways had drained perfectly, with no standing water, and the greens were true and fast. The slopes made it very easy to race the first putt past.
The welcome at the club was great, the food and drinks were on the expensive side (but expectedly so).
You should make an effort to play this course. We paid £50 each and it was very good value for that. Highly recommended.
