I played this course today, and was gutted when my round had finished. Until this morning I hadn't heard of Kings Hill GC. Now I want everyone I know and play golf with to know how superb and top quality the place is.
Unfortunately we arrived late, but the gent in the pro shop was fully aware of the traffic problems we'd had, and offered us a revised tea time, to allow us to unwind and have a practise putt. The clubhouse does offer a spectacular sight on arrival, very emu have like East Sussex National in my opinion.
The tees were perfectly flat on every hole, the bunkers plentiful with sand, and the greens very true and enjoyable to putt on, believe me when I say they test your putting ability to the max. Unfortunately the fairways were very brown and dry, very nice for extra distance of the tee but the occasional unlucky bounce did occasionally bite you back. This obviously cannot be blamed on the course itself, just weather alone.
The course itself is a test of driving accuracy and length as well as course management and putting and wedge skill. But you can get a bit of luck for any slight errant shots.
We paid £33 for our rounds, to be perfectly honest I would of happily paid £60 , however the fees benefit us as golfers meaning we can afford to play this course again and again and again.

I love Kings Hill.
One of the best courses I have ever played. My home course, best draining course I have played. Challenging test of golf. Some tight fairways and some tough places to make par from. 3rd, 7th, 9th, 12th, 14th, 15th and 17th are my favourite holes. The price is fairly reasonable, and as for the quality of the course, tees, fairways and greens always in top condition. My friends are I regard Kings Hill as one of the top clubs in Kent. I had a good day when I shot this 75.
One tip. If you are planning a visit to Kings Hill GC, check the weather forecast... If it's windy, good luck!

What an excellent course. Long, testing, dont stray off the fairways as the rough is a killer. Greens in beautiful condition and the bunkers were in great condition. The surroundings are stunning and have never played at a more tranquil course. Highly recommened.

I came across this gem of a golf course mid May and will be definitely visiting again soon. I like a course that sets a challenge and makes you think about what to take off the tee and where to leave the ball and this ticks the box. The rough punishing enough to keep you honest, bunkers well maintained (one a little too much sand) I always had a great lie from fairways and the greens rolled true with some smart runoff areas. This course was close to being exactly how it should be, no doubt it is now with the good weather, and I plan to take advantage of that very soon!

Under new management so clubhouse atmosphere much improved. Course is the usual high standard - probably the one of the best winter courses with no mud even after heavy rain. Greens are excellent. Highly recommended.

I played this course for the first time while visiting my brother in Kent and on a £20 deal until the 18th of April, normally £45.For this time of the year i was blown away by the fantastic condition and layout of the course, excellent facilities and very friendly staff.My favourite course in the SE alongside Dale hill.Each hole is different from the next and the sand in the bunkers was top notch. The greenkeeper and staff should be commended and given a bonus along with the designer....what a cracking course!!! My only gripe was possibly the slow pace during the round, almost 5 hours., but it just gave me more time to soak up the beautiful flora and fauna complimented by a golf course i would play any time even for £45!!!My handicap is 8.6

brilliant course no matter what the conditions and have enjoyed starting there and has helped improve my skill, also the acadamy is amazing with fanominal coaches I would recommend to any body.
