What the club says: Poult Wood is set in rural woodland, three miles north of Tonbridge. It has a reputation for being one of the finest quality pay and play golf centres in the South of England. 5 and 7 Day memberships options are now available 18 Hole Course - The 18 Hole par 68 Course is 5,524 yards (5,408 metres) long in all, and offers a well balanced blend of par 3s, 4s and a par 5. The course is designed to challenge the more accomplished golfer but also to give beginners reassurance in their own ability and the opportunity to learn and improve their game. There is an automatic irrigation system to help keep tees and greens in immaculate playing condition. 9 Hole Course - The 9 Hole par 3 is a high quality course of 1,221 yards (1,171 metres), starting and finishing in ancient woodland, with many holes giving panoramic views across the Weald of Kent. The course is ideal for when 18 holes are too many to play or you just want to improve short game.

Nice layout but poor fairways
Greens okay but the fairways are really bad. Hardened mud with tufts of grass. We had to play pick and place as it would have been impossible to play otherwiseReviewer Rating

Very friendly club
Our first visit and pleasantly pleased. One of the best Sausage baguettes going. The recent weather had the ground still a little boggy and the greens were a bit patchy. But we will be returning in a few weeks when hopefully we will see the course in better condition.Reviewer Rating

Condition
Considering we have just had the longest winter of rain, and all courses across the country have struggled due to the consistent rain conditions, We found the 18 holes course at Poult Wood to be in immaculate condition, - Thank you Poult wood we had a great day, on the course and in the club house afterwards...Reviewer Rating

Course was very wet that day due to heavy overnight rain, in some places the fairways were actually waterlogged so realistically the course should of been closed but will still nice to get out play as the sun was shining on a Sunday morning.

Have played here many times over the years. Yesterday was our 1st Society outing of ?23. To start off with the catering was bang on ????????. Although every tee had temp tees and off mats. Decent flat mats and took all tees wherever ????????Greens all extremely good considering the time of the year although 3 reasonable Temp tees. A lot of work has been done in so much as sensible removal of trees around certain greens that were always in the dark and were always in poor condition. Although I tried hard to get in the sand never achieved it but those that did found all with the perfect amount of sand and all have been raked to perfection. Poor condition
A small society day with16 .. fairways were bare and greens had been hole tined but ran dreadfully, this made golf an unpleasant experience. The course needs a lot more care and attention.Reviewer Rating
